This is special Khmer style, there are stairs that you can climb to get a better view, please take care as the steps are steep, and be very careful on the way down and make sure you locate the position of the stairs. Once you have climbed up the view is very good, you can see all over the park.

One could say that there are enough wats in this area but this is a special one. It is Khmer style and you can climb up on it to have e better view of the Buddha and also have a very nice view around into the historical park. Beware though the stairs are steep and I mean it.

This temple is in Chaliang, near the Si Satchanalai Historical Park, and I think it is the best reason to make the trip here. The khmer-style phrang is beautiful, and if you don't suffer from highness-sickness (that's me, unfortunately) you can also climb it.
