Had an early morning start with camera and binoculars with me alongside the river. It was oke for birdwatching, had 2 kinds of kingfishers and several other birds wich made it river itself is not much more than a dirty stream when it is dry season. Apparently it is dry season in January.

Just relaxing at the river with a book and something to drink. Just great. Makr sure you go to the rever outside of town. The surounding nature makes it great.

January is not the time to see a great deal here. It's a river! Tranquil it is and slow moving water. It's cleaner than some of the other waterways I've seen.

We visited in December so the water level was down. We chose to not get a bamboo boat ride. They asked for too much for it, honestly.

Nice river too chill and relax on the waterside. The bamboo bridges are great, i really wonder how long they will last. We were at the river in the vilage pai. You see a lot of people with tents on the waterside. However we saw nobody swimming.

It's a small stream, more than a river, in most places. It's nice to sit and chill for a bit. But i wouldn't go there especially; there is no 'attraction' to see. Though I did see a group of people taking a bamboo raft (they had to stand) down the river - that looked like a nice little outing.

There are many nice places to chill beside the river. Just follow the main street through the bridge.

The Pai river adds to the charm surrounding Pai. Not the most clear water, and street runoff make it not a great swimming river, but the views and wildlife around the area thrive off this lazy river.

The river which runs through Pai is quiet and has many rickety but safe bamboo bridges along it. You can see the mountains and the flow of water.
