This place is just amazing. Nong Khai is a quaint town where you explore with a bicycle, but this park makes the visit to this town well worth it. You can spend your time exploring this park or do it quickly, it's up to you. But by quick I mean you will probably spend a good one hour here. It... More

This park is worth a trip up to Nong Khai all by itself..then take in a great river side town and a few other attractions to see why this city is becoming a major hot spot. The Sculpture Park is a bizarre collection of statues created by a Laotian Mystic in the mid to late 90's. Made from concrete and... More

If you are looking for something way out of the ordinary, then this is the place for you. For me it was like landing in an episode of Star Trek. Before you go I would suggest you take a trip to the Mut Mee Guest House and ask for Julian. He will give you a map of the place and... More

Well nearly. Hard to describe but it is the unique collection of cement and reinforced steel statues some reaching as high as 70 feet. The artist had a strange fascination with snakes and as such a lot of the statues feature them. The Mut Mee Guest House has great maps on getting there as well as descriptions of the Wheel... More

We had a great day out here, only 20Baht to get in and 10Baht for a lovely coconut ice cream cone! Weird and wonderful statues, some life size, some gargantuan. Beautiful gardens to walk around and marvel at it all. There are also some giant fish to feed in the small lakes too. Definitely worth a visit and a the... More

Constructed around 50 years ago, some large and some huge statues associated with the life of the Buddha. There's also a peaceful Wat for meditation and prayer, and fish ponds out back where you can feed the enormous Catfish. Entrance around a buck! More

This is an impressive sculpture park devoted to Buddha and the Buddhist religion and easy enough to access from Nong Khai. Once visiting here, it is probably not worth going to the similar one over the border in Vientiane, Lao PDR which is less impressive and not too accessible. More

20 baht provides entry to this large sculpture park of buddhist significance. Each sculpture represents stories from buddhist faith. The statues are primarily concrete on a brick and stone base. They are enormous and quite imposing, rising out of the extensive garden. The garden needed a bit of serious tlc and some of the statues were being repaired or replaced... More
