Getting from Mae Haad or Sairee will take You a while, but its certainly a spot worth visiting. There are some resorts around, but its not crowded most of the time. For a better spot tho - visit au leuk!

We went snorkeling here and loved it! There were beautiful boulders spread around the beach area and in the water, including a huge boulder about 40m out that you can climb up, and jump off of (too scared to do it but it looked like fun). There was lots of great colorful coral and marine life. We saw lots of... More

We got to Ao Tanot by scooter which was a little hairy but definitely manageable (I recommend at least getting a scooter with knobbly tires!) and it was worth the effort. The beach is nice if a little exposed, there are a couple of cafes with hammocks to relax in, the water has some excellent snorkelling right at the shore... More

Nice beach with good snorkelig and a huge rock out in the water that you can jump from. (Estimated hight: around 6 Meters) There´s also an nice café with a rooftop-area. I would NEVER go there by scooter on my own!!!! Choose a Taxi with good brakes!!! The road is very very steep and sometimes muddy! Have fun!

An amazing beach with great snorkelig and not too crowded. There's a huge rock out in the water that you can jump from - it's a lot of fun! The drive there is also well worth it, make sure your scooter or taxi has decent breaks! ;)

This little bay is well worth a visit if you are out exploring the island. I will return to this one as it is not the most visited which I liked.

Awesome snorkelling, some amazing reef fish and ace coral. Definitely worth a visit. Just wish the locals and tourists would spend more time picking up the litter!

Its good to snorkel there, bring your own equipment or rent it there. Go there on a rented bike or by local cab, 150 baths more pax if theres 4 people on the cab. There are some cottages beach front that costs 800 baths a day! Worthed

Amazing snorkelling, lots of fish to see in the shallows, secluded relaxing beach to stay at and chill out! Coral sand makes walking barefoot on the beach uncomfortable but we were either in the water or horizontal on the beach most of the time so did not bother us!
