Had originally booked 4 nights to do my open water course and ended up staying a week to do my advanced course as well, and didn't want to leave! Staff there is just A-mazing! Everybody makes you feel welcome and it is a great place to make friends if you take any of their courses. Instructors are really great, they... More

I visited Big Blue in December last year and did my open water and advanced with Neil and Petra as my instructors. When two weeks holiday came around at Easter I hopped on a plane for Big Blue again, having loved it last time I was looking to notch up lots more dives. I did just that. The highlights had... More

This course was amazing and so breathtaking to see all the fish! It was a great value and the accommodations were included. I was extremely nervous to begin with and was going to quit but my instructor Chloe was amazing and so patient and calmed me down and I'm so glad she did cause diving was amazing!

Submechanophobia! Yup, the fear of large man made submerged objects. Hard to believe that only a year ago, I was terrified to swim near a big boat anchor or even jetty pilings let alone go diving into the deep blue ocean with ........urk....... fish! But significant life changing events brought about the realisation that fear was the number one obstacle... More

I'm more than happy with my experience with Big Blue. My instructor was more than amazing, and I couldn't have wished for a better teacher (Her name was Chloe by the way). I was so nervous and she helped calm me and enjoy the dive, so I am so grateful. My girlfriends and I loved the experience, so thanks Big... More

I've had a fear of open water for as long as I can remember. It's not rational - I know how to swim - but it's meant that every time I've tried snorkeling, I've had to get back on the boat almost immediately because of a panicky feeling. Deciding to sign up for an open water course was risky because... More

I don't normally write reviews but I had a great experience with these guys so I had to write. I did 4 days of fun dives , some morning and afternoon dives , so some early starts and late finishes but can honestly say it was hard to leave this great island and this great bunch of people. I have... More

Had the best time at big blue! Groups were small, the instructors were AMZING, had heaps of experience, and the centre itself is really cool and social, really didn't want to leave! Did my open and advanced open water with big blue, would recommend to anyone :)

I have just completed my SSI Advanced Open Water Course at Big Blue and feel very disappointed by the experience. I have dived at three other dive centres prior to this and it is interesting to observe the differences between them. Immediately on arrival you sense that this is a big dive school which runs lots of different courses and... More
