Visited Ko Tao in August with a couple of friends and based on the TripAdvisor reviews, we chose Big Blue over Ban's for taking the Open Water course. Never regretted it one bit! Although Ban's probably has the best party center on the island next door to their HQ (Fishbowl), it's only a 10 minute walk and Big Blue looked... More

Thanks to Big Blue we went from knowing nothing to completely falling in love with diving! We've done the open water course followed by the advanced course with Denja and she couldn't have been more brilliant. She is a very sweet and knowledgable instructor and we definitely recommend her! But to be honest all the other instructors and staff were... More

Came to Koh Tao in December in order to attend some scuba diving courses and chill out a little bit. Just when we arrived we were received by the staff and started with all the paperwork while enjoying a drink. Everything was extremely organized and went as smooth as it could go. We were given the keys to our dorm... More

emailed Big Blue three days before arrival on koh tao, asking for a confirmed seat on a afternoon dive trip, since I was AOW certified by them many years ago, and had a great time. Their booking system quoted wrong price, and couldn't confirm my spot on the boat. I was told to show up on the 13.th upoen arrival,... More

I booked in to do the Open Water Course here. Not being a strong swimmer I was a bit nervous but my instructor Stevo put my mind at rest. He was enthusiastic, really supportive and obviously knew what he was talking about. He had a really great teaching style. I have been travelling around thailand for 2 months but I... More

I booked 2 try dives with big blue diving in July.....for august. Firstly I was shocked to find out the try dives where 3000thb each ....when it clearly stated on website they were 2000 each. I was wary about paying for dives online, I confirmed the date several times before agreeing to pay (as we could not b flexible and... More

I had an awesome time at Big Blue. Everything you need is in one place-a bar, restaurant, dorms literally next door and even a laundrette. It's location was excellent- right on the beach and around the corner to the bars, restaurants and cafes of the main area. Many people who come here favour the SSI open water course since it's... Came to Koh Tao in March 2014 and decided to make the SSI Open Water Course at Big Blue. Big Blue offered good facilities and basic rooms. All in all the whole dive center seems to be very well organized and structured. We were in a group of 5 for our Open Water course and our instructor Alex was amazing.... More
