I've heard about this island for quite sometimes and just got a chance to visit. The trip took 1.5 hrs by speed boat but it worth every minute. The water is crystal clear and blue and the sand is so powderly white. If you had a chance to visit, i wouldn't suggest snorkeling.. just go chill on the beach and... More

Wanted to go to this group of islands of Similan since years as I live in South of Thailand but couldn't find the time to do it. I finally managed to get some time this year and opted for Ko Tachai. Difficult to express my feeling about this trip. It's just amaizing. A water so clear, white sand beach, beautiful... More

We were staying in Patong area, our van pick up was at 6:30AM and we travelled to the pier. Journey took close to two hours. There was a little briefing by tourist guides in there for half an hour. We used a company called Fantastic tours, staff spoke enough English and were jovial and nice. There were about 40-50 of... More

Tachai located away from land around 1.30 hrs. by speedboat. But it so amazing place in this world. You will see the real blue color with the white sand. We just spend time on the beach and take a photo around there that's so amazing time for us.

Thanks to Tripadvisor I could know about this beautiful and magical island just before a few days left to my Thailand tour. It is really a lovely and great island. This island is situated in Phang Nga province and if you are already staying there then you would get to this island within a couple of hours, but one thing... More

We loved the beauty of this island and the simplicity of everything on it. The sand is fine and white and makes your toes very happy. The views of course are incredible. Please pick up your trash as a few people forget and garbage in paradise, it is almost sickening to see. Just know when planning, this island is not... More

Tachai Island has been known as Maldives of Thailand, so this island is named as Maldives of Thailand by Thai people. Local people also believe that it was discovered by the man whose name Tachai, so this island is named after his name. Crystal clear water as emeral and white sand beach, then Tachai Island has been becoming increasingly known... More
