Stunning beach and clear water. Its alot less crowded than some of the other beaches but that may be because we came a little later in the day. Definitely worth a visit.

Great little area away from the busy touristy Phi Phi of Tongsai bay. Note before this is a very quiet area and so there are limited restaurants or places to go at night. After being in Phuket for a few nights, Phi Phi and Laem Tong beach was just the ticket to relax and rejuvenate. Beautiful sunsets and the perfect... More

Loved the sunsets -- went here at night daily with my husband and enjoyed the stunning colors and sunsets --- there is a restaurant called Good View Restaurant but we only had drinks there because they didn't serve food certain nights of the week. Only negative was locals sometimes unloaded shipment barges right around sunset sometimes, which was very inconvenient... More

Its not as crowded as other places and its beautiful! Slow blue waves lapping at the shores. shallow clear waters...just outstanding. We stayed here and it was therapeutic.

Firstly the main picture someone has added for this page is NOT Laem Tong Bay but Maya Bay on another island. Its great strength is its isolation. Its great weakness is its isolation. Get it? There are two hotels at each end of the beach with a couple of average restaurants and underwhelming shops. You wont be alone here. If... More

If you can afford to stay at a resort in Laem Tong please do it. At high tide it really looks like paradise. Low tide leaves the beach too exposed and there are too much boats (but nowhere as nearby as Tonsai). There are also some good and cheap non resort restaurants.

When people think of Ko Phi Phi they think of Tonsai bay. Big mistake. The place you should really go to is Laem Tong Bay and stay in one of the resorts. We stayed in the Holiday Inn and despite the fact that we don't really like beach vacations, we fell in love with the place. This area of the... More

Laemtong bay is the secluded part of phi phi islands. It is away from all the crowd. Its beautiful , natural , scenic and amazing.... I will strongly recommend staying here (expensive, though) rather than at tonsai bay in phi phi ... It will be a lifetime experience...All the best...:)
