On our way back from Holiday Inn, which I do NOT recommend, out ferry stopped at Ton Sai and we were able to walk around for about a half hour, which is really all you need. Good for party people, very atmospheric. Plenty of good Irish style bars, some nice fire shows on the beach. Good for shopping. More

We just stopped off for a little while on the morning ferry back to Phuket. Am glad we weren't staying there, just gave us the feeling of being very crowded. More
