We travel as a group of 4 and decided to use a local taxi boat. We hired it for 3 hours (1500baht) which was very reasonable. We stopped at 5 locations which were amazing. From the Viking cave to some of the best snorkelling I have ever done. There were snorkels, masks and life jackets provided. There was one down... More

IF your boat goes directly into Maya Bay - it's all good.... BUT if you land on the other side, you'll have an 'adventure' !!! Strong currents, sharp rocks and swarms of people clammoring for a rope ladder while guests that are leaving are trying to descend the same rope ladder and fight the currents (one way in & one... All I really have to say about this place is simply - go there. You will regret not doing so. It is in perfect form, tranquil, picturesque. Do yourself a favour.

Amazing place to visit, so picturesque! Unfortunately it gets crowded, and the water is quite dirty from rubbish and pollution - however it's still worth the trip to see! (it would have been amazing back in the day!)

This was by far the most dangerous and traumatizing experience I had in Southeast Asia. The longtail boats will leave you about 100 meters away from the bay, and you WILL have to swim through big, strong waves to the shore. Once you do get there shore, you will start stepping on very sharp rocks, trying to hold you body... More

The place is simply beautiful... But, be prepared to join hundreds of tourists over there. Try to find the "best" corner and enjoy the beach. Don't be a tourist... be a traveler...

This beech was beautiful white sandy beech with clear water, only problem was it was packed with tourist and many excursion boats viable, nothing like what we saw on the beech, but still it's beautiful, for me I had to zone out to everything around me to approach it, downfall if your in a excursion your time will be limited... so pretty, and with delicious crepe stands and fruit shakes all around. Barter with the kayak rental, it is definitely worth it

You can just imagine Leonardo Di Caprio here on the beach shirtless. The bay is so beautiful and it is so breath taking once you get there. you can access the bay from the back, by climbing rope over a gap in the rocks or through a rock tunnel or by coming in from the front by boat (there are... It's beautiful here, but by late morning its packed! We hired a longtail boat from Phi Phi Don to take us there before 8am and it was worth it! We joined maybe 20 people that were already there. After it got crowded around 11am we asked our boatman to take us to a less crowded area... depending on the tide,... More
