loved loved loved going to the Beach's Maya Beach, wonderful (even though because we went by sea gypsy boat we had to snorkel then rope climb over rocks via back entrance) but seriously Thailand, you want us tourists to keep coming and paying money - then get rid of the rubbish, mainly plastic bottles and save your oceans, you depend... DO NOT GO during the day. Opt for the overnight camping experience. Instead of sharing the island with hundreds of people and all of the day boats ruining the view, we were there with only 5 people and unspoiled views! More

Even though this beach is jam-packed with tourists, it is still the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. A tiny cove in Phi Phi Ley, the stretch of beach is only about 70 metres long and 8 metres wide with lush bush behind the sand, tiny caves on one side and surrounded by limestone cliffs. The sand is silky... More

I suggest you to visit this beach early in the morning, take the earliest trip. Or else you will need to share this beach with hundreds of people. The beach wasn't that big anyway. More

We booked a snorkeling tour (trough Kho Phi Phi Village Beach Resort) and had our lunch on the beach of maya bay. Beautifull bay, but not for yourself. Luckily we spend about 60 minutes here, so we could enjoy the surrounding and swim. More

my friends and i travelled to maya bay on a day trip from Phi Phi island we stopped at some absolute amazing places and the scenery is breathtaking as you weave around the towering rock and cliffs to get to the places on this trip. When we arrived to maya bay we got dropped off on the other side of... More

Visited in low season (end of September 2010) and still it was overcrowded at 8.30 am. The classic view of "yeaaah" screaming asians jumping in the air to get the "dream picture". In the time we've been there there was an option to camp there for 1-2 nights (organized) it was a little bit pricey but I guess if you... More

It has definitely been ruined by tourism, what is meant to be a secluded beach is so busy with people- all the tour boats go here and it is a shame. We couldn't even dock our speed boat to get off so we just said we were fine not to get off, we had seen enough. More
