We were staying at the outrigger on PhiPhi and I'd been banging on about how beautiful the bay was so I had to take my husband there and talk about disappointing- it was just FILTHY. Firstly, despite the perfect weather there was NO WAY we were going to get in the water. There was so much rubbish on the beach... More

Personally we loved it but appreciate it's not for everyone. We visited by day because I wanted to go to a memorial for one of my friends who was killed in the Tsunami. Then in the evening we went back to the beach and got a great spot on the beach where w chilled out listening to the music, drank... More

Dalum bay has a beatiful curve . It is an amazing view when looking ahead to see the bay with its both ending closing almost a full circle, leaving an open entrance at the far end. This far end "gate" is kept as such by high cliffs making a beatiful picture of a stunning bay. Joining this view with the... More

The beach is extremely crowded with people and boats, no any privacy, and not really good for swimming. The water is very shallow, dirty, when the tide is out , it becomes a beach of mud. Very lively in the evenings, if you like electronic music an fire show, you can enjoy it. It is overrated, there are much nicer... More

First thing I noticed when I stepped on the beach was that the sand was not that soft more like crush coral, the water is very shallow depending if the tide is in or out.. If the tide is out then it looks like a beach of mud ... There are many bars located on one side of the beach..... More

I went in the water up to my Knees and looked down to see a combination of sewage sludge and diesel slick, not to mention the floating rubbish and litter on the beach. I honestly don't know how people rate this beach as "One of their faves". Too many boats and too many people considering it was low season. I'd... More

This is a nice beach and is very chilled out in certain parts, there are lots of bars and places to eat . You can wade for ages before it gets deep, you can walk out very very far. In certain parts the water is a bit grubby as the waste is seeped out into the water here.

Very picturesque bay where you can wade and wade and wade... then hire a kayak if you like. Some nice beach bars and restaurants but honestly - go to Long Beach if you want to swim.
