Not worth the visit. Crowded, trash strewn all over. Sad that this island is not maintained and kept clean. Yes, you have the white sand and nice stretch of beach but if it's not clean then it's in a sorry state. Better get a good resort with a private beach (like in Phi Phi The Beach Resort in Long Beach)... More

Arrived here on our way back to Phuket after our day trip of the Phi Phi Islands. Great swimming and a nice island to be able to sit on the beach. Definitely worth a visit if you are going to do a day tour.

Nothing special. Exposed beach with strong waves and wind. Trees that seem more pine trees than bamboo. Many tourists around 10:00 as being the first stop on the Phi Phi Islands tour from Ao Nang and Krabi. Prefer that they skip this stop to spend more time at Maya Bay and/or snorkelling stops.

It is certainly better of the touristy islands (we saw only those), do not miss it. Snorkeling here is good so go for it!

Bamboo Island was a short stop on our snorkeling trip, but we couldn't see why it was a National Park. A lot of Asian tourist sitting on a beach with loads for flotsam wood. Nothing nice to see, many beaches are much better!!!

we came to Bamboo Island for lunch after visiting Phi Phi. Pretty island with trees for shade, and beautiful warm clear water. It wasn't crowded which was great, especially after going to Phi Phi.

There is huge beach and nice sea on Bamboo Island but nothing much to do except swimming and sunbathing.

This island was included in the tour with Maya Bay, paid somewhere around 500 Baht for it. The island had fine white sand and blue waters perfect for swimming. But like most attractions in Thailand there were a lot of people on the island even during supposedly low season. I enjoyed walking on the beach and swimming in the waters.

If you want to avoid the crowds go directly over to the other-side of the beach where your left off from the charters. Less crowded. Stunningly gorgeous, great snorkeling or sunning.

Amazing island, crystal clear waters....paradise :) We hired our own long tail boat and took a trip to bamboo island. One of the best beaches i visited whilst in thailand.
