Just north of Phi Phi lies a quieter & peaceful ambiance(Koh Phai) Bamboo Island. To escape the crowded beaches of Ton Sai Bay or Maya, we rented a long tail at least 3 hours (1500 Baht, approximately 50 USD)in the direction of Bamboo Island. This tiny island is nothing like its big sisters. Here, no high rocky peak.Just a small beach... More

Breathtaking views, relaxing, immaculate water, perfect white sand, lots or coral and fish to see. It’s a beach, don’t expect anything more than that

The beach is crowed with Russian, Chinese and Japanese tourist coming from Phuket. According to me, there is absolutely nothing to see on the island... not even bamboos! (or maybe we missed the most important thing?). There are far more beautiful places to visit when you are is Phuket, Krabi or Phi Phi. Nevertheless, if you are taking a long... More

One of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. Beutiful forest behind and the beach is really big. It is a must visit if you are in Thailand.

This is a very unique beach. Not only is it covered with fine white sand, it is extremely deep. By that I mean it takes a while to walk from the water to the tree line. It is also shaped like a peninsula as there is water on both sides of the beach. I found this to be a true... More

It's a very nice place to stay for a half day or a full day. Avoid the main beach where all the massive groups of tourists (mostly chinese) are.

Not a lot there, good for a beach day, quite busy plenty of people and only a small shack for food. Was quite windy and we took a tour on a larger boat with about 25 people that meant we either had to swim or kayak to the island. Not good on a windy day where the swell is large... More

We went in Ja and arrived at around 10am. There were about 4/5 long boats pulled up to the part had stopped at. We had an hour to ourselves, in which we walked around the island to a secluded spot where it was quiet and beautiful. As we came back to our boat, there were about 50 boats there, and... More

There were literally thousands of them walking around in diving suits and none of them know how to swim, so they float around with floaties and want to take photos with the Westerners. Its a funny experience because of this. The water is hot which is so weird but the sand beneath your feet is broken up coral which is... More

Second time we visited this island. Being peak season( Early Jan) it was pretty crowded. Awesome sun, mats available for rent , so you can spend a good 2-3 hours soaking the sun.( 100 THB rent, 100 THB refundable deposit) See the photos attached to believe how many boats were there at one time!
