It is such a beautiful Island! The water is crystal clear and the small-ness of it adds to its charm. There are many visitors on day trips so make sure u walk around the island to find a quieter spot. You have to pay 200 baht upon arrival for a nature park fee/donation.

Very beautiful place with devine nature not touched by humans. White sand, pristine turquoise water. It's a national park, hence you'll have to pay a fee to your guide or boat captain who brings you there. Not crowded, you can have a one-on-one with the horizon. Amazing place!

Excellent beach full of tourists but easy to find a quiet spot . Nice to relax and go for a swim . My self and my partner spent a couple of hours there . Beautiful sea so clear but little bits of coral . If you do a island tour don't make your own tour then you can choose how... More

Bamboo island is a big, beautiful tropical beach - nice to spend an hour or two there but best visiting as part of a tour of adjacent islands. Very touristy.

The Island was stunning. Composed of white powdery sand and clear blue water but the island get's too crowded.

I understand that you will see tourist everywhere in Phi Phi islands but I have never seen this mass of people on a tiny little island. When I visited there one afternoon (4 pm) we thought there would be a bit less people...Wrong! As other reviewers mentioned, there were gazillion of Chinese tourists having a picnic EVERYWHERE! I truly believe... More

This was my favorite island to visit, it was peaceful and the water was crystal clear. It was not the crowded and if you walk away from where most of the boats are docked you can find patches of beach that dont have anyone else there.

I dont understand how this beach can be so good rated. It is dirty and with a lot of distroyed small buildings. Really crowded with a lot of big boats next to the sand. It is not worth the visit.

Lovely white sand beach. Crystal clear water. Not a huge amount of sea life, but the snorkelling isn't too bad, especially for beginners
