Lovely beach and lovely village. Relax next to the 5 star resorts and then eat at the village. Loved the Panviman area, really nice hotel. The only thing lets this place down are the jet skis here but apart from that it is perfect.

This beach is the epitomy of tranquil tropical paradise. Just a short stretch of white sand, crystal clear blue water, and complete serenity.

Restaurants aplenty. Great hotel at Panviman. Lots to do. Best beach. Soft sand, walking distance from one end to the other with plenty of restaurants, bars in between.

The beach here is wide and clean. There are a few dogs wandering around near the small town. There are several resorts along this stretch of beach but the beach is public and there is plenty of room for everyone. No waves as the beach is on a small bay. Beautiful view especially of the rising full moon. The town... More

Beautiful, serene and quiet place. One of the best beach I ever seen for quiet rest, lazy swimming and sunning.

So when I say classy...it's not a full moon party party place...quieter, more laid back and seems a little more intimate. Clean beaches even with a few dogs running around - for me that in itself has some charm! I think this is a fairly cost-effective place but of course you get what you pay for.

We really liked the very clean and fine sand in the beach and the clean looking rolling water (which was actually very turbid when you got in it). The water was beautiful and warm for swimming. There were no beach sellers and only a few stray dogs. The area is dominated by the big resorts but once you escape them... More
