It doesn't look that different from the rest, and indeed we all have our favourite, but this beach has something for everybody. A good mix of quiet resorts, from cheap to expensive, a decent mix of bars and restaurants - Seaflower Heaven beach bar is THE best….and at one end the Pirates bar where they have a weekly party. What's... More

Dpn't know about other months, but In December there is lots of trash on the beach and some resorts ( most actually) do not care to clean it ( both litter brought out by water and seaweed - loooots of it) . my daughter cut her foot on some old piece of metal. Other than that - it's a beautiful... More

Sunset Cove resort here offers excellent value and comfort. The beach is laid back and sunsets are stunning.

Great for snorkelling but not a great swim destination as there is a ton of coral! Water was insanely warm! Felt like being in a bath with a bunch of beautiful marine life.

Nearly white sand, really fine. Too shallow to swim. After 100m comes the coral reef with some seaurgents. Past the reef the water is deep and perfect for swimming/snorkeling. Close to the beach the water is very warm and clear. Sandy bottom. Great for playing around, laying down to watch the sunset. No salespeople around. Stay at Blue Ocean Garden... More

the beach is just right, from the point of view of not being too big or small, just two bars to watch the sunset and a few hotels ,all very quite and hopefully it will stay like this

The beach itself may not be the best on the island but it is quieter than those in the South and the sunsets are amazing. There are lots of lovely resorts in the area but you will want a moped to get around. Once you have a bike, it's a great point to start exploring from...There are loads of hidden... More

The beach is very shallow, very rocky and full of seaweed. not great for swimming. snorkeling can be dont further out but a better place to swim would be Haad Yao a little ways down the street
