His patience and passion for food is very prevalent. The quiet and peaceful ambience makes it very relaxing. It is also very clean and very organized. I will highly recommend it to anyone who would like to cook some Thai food. :D More

Instead of doing the original class we bought (1500 bath) a private lesson from Lanta Thai Cookery school. This meant that the two of us could choose four dishes out of eight to cook togheter with the private teacher Aon. She was very helpful and learned us many "secrets" to make tasty thai food. We will recomend the Lanta thai... More

I went to Lanta Thai whilst staying on Lanta in between Christmas and New Year. The location is about 5 minutes from Long Beach and they collect and return you to your accommodation. The guy running the course was really knowledgeable and the instructions were clear, even the 8 year old who in our group had no problems. You get... More

We visited Koh Lanta in June 2011 in the low season. We stayed at Cha Da Resort and had booked a morning cooking class with Lanta Thai Cookery School to experience some of the local culture and cuisine first hand. We were picked up at the hotel in an airconned car and after a short and comfortable drive arrived at... More

This was great! I was not sure if I wanted to go to a cooking school, but I do not regret it at all! It was fun to learn about the different herbs and spices, and why the Thai people use them in the dishes. We learned how to prep dishes and then cook them. They were so easy to... More

This is a great dinner date if travelling with a companion and would be a good way for a group to do dinner or singles to meet up with other friendly travellers. Instruction is awesome, and the meals all turn out! Eat a big breakfast, small lunch the day you do it....there is ALOT of food once done - you... More

This was such a good day out and a chance to do something different, rather than another day on the beach! The teachers are truly passionate about food and this is very inspiring. More

I went there 2 days, one class in the morning and the next day in the afternoon. They came to pick me up at the resort, the place is nice, big and you can see their vegetable garden. The teachers are very nice: Aon and Chen. They are thai and love their job. I found Thai cooking very easy with... More

we loved this course but found the voting system a little annoying. We really wanted to learn how to make a paste (surely the basis of all good curry!) but the group didn't vote for that meal. Its a shame. I like the voting system but I think the paste should be the 1 thing that the group has to... More

We had only 6 people and the teacher was excellent. thankfully our group decided collectively to learn all dishes I wanted to and it was a great experience. not sure it would be such a good experience with 15 in the class. worth checking before signing up how many will be in the class. More
