Great food and wonderful semi-outdoor kitchen but was not impressed with the teacher - Pea. Although there were only two of us in the class the whole thing seemed rushed. Pea didn't smile once and seemed irritated and impatient when I didn't chop fast enough or asked a simple question! We finished an hour earlier that stated on the leaflet... More

This cooking class is good value for money. Our teacher ('Pea' if I'm correct) did a good job explaining a lot about ingredients (origin/taste/application), cutting techniques, order of adding ingredients and clear instructions on how to prepare the meals. We had only six people in our group, which was great. The pick-up from our resort (included in the price) was... More

This was great fun. We learned loads and cooked some amazing food. But the one thing I'll remember is tasting the best green curry I have ever eaten. The session lasts four hours and you cook four dishes. If you go to the morning session don't make any plans for the rest of the day. All you will want to... More

I booked a morning class and we were only 3 people which meant we had exellent guiding. We learned four different dishes and tasted all of them. I had to bring left overs back home as I weren´t able to eat it all. The family loved it! At the end of the class I felt as if I had learned... More

I booked the morning class, as this one included my favorite dish (Pad Thai) - totally worth getting up so early! We were only 4 people, so great size for learning everything. Everyone gets to cook their own meals (so you can individually choose the meat and the level of spicyness). We ended up making Pad Thai, Green Curry Paste,... More

We had a very nice experience at Lanta Thai cooking school. We were a group of just four, us and another couple. Nurriya was a fun, interesting, and gracious host. We made Tom Yam soup, pad Thai, green curry, and Panang curry paste. Only three dishes instead of four--take note if you're considering learning to make the curry paste that... More

We went to Lanta Thai on a wet afternoon in Koh Lanta, a bit sceptical after reading reviews. We need not have worried...it was an excellent experience. They had a Swedish school with around 15 kids attending that afternoon but they managed to make us feel at ease and provide us with a personalised lesson. The pace was unhurried, the... More

I went to this cookery school with my Two daughters (22 and 19). We all loved it! The school itself is lovely and airy and really well set up. There were 7 of us in the morning class and as a group we chose 4 dishes that we wanted to prepare. We made Phad Thai, Stirfry chicken with Cashew nuts,... More

I’m no cook but decided to see how my favorite dishes are made. My first choice for cooking class was “Time for Lime” cooking class. Fortunately, it was sold out and I had to pleasure to take take this class. The teacher “Pee” was extremely informative. She went through all the ingredients and when I asked her about a specific... We have booked a morning class and there was 4 other people with us. Firstly we had a little intro on the veggies we would be using and then chopping commenced. Last part was cooking and you get to eat after each meal. We had an amazing morning.. The head chef was funny and very knowledgeable. They use a lot... More
