first of all the prices here are high compared to another place we did a course (we did one in chiang mai for less than half than what we paid here). for the course itself - on the upside - you really get to cook everything, meaning that you do everything (not like in other course that we got the... We did both the morning class menu and the afternoon menu. The latter of which we could arrange to do in the morning. The food was delicious and there was a lot! We took most of it home with us. The first time we had the usual teacher who's name I unfortunately forgot with a total of 5 people. She... More

Had a great time learning to cook Thai food. We did the evening class which was meant to run until 10pm but instead it was more like midnight when we were done. Cooked 4 dishes all of which were beautiful. The group was a lot bigger than we expected about 17 I think but to be honest it didnt take... More

My two children (ages 11 and 15) and I took a morning class when we were in Ko Lanta in December. We were picked up from our hotel and one other couple joined us so we had a nice small group. You choose 4 dishes to prepare. First there's lots of chopping and assembling ingredients. Afterwards Aon will tell you... More

Went there expecting a group lesson and were pleasantly surprise to know that there is only 2 of us! The teacher(which name escape me) is extremely friendly. She converse excellently well in English. Given there only 2 of us, we were free to choose to cook up any 4 dishes(usually you have to follow the prescribe menu) - 3 main... More

We took the evening cooking class on a raining day. Both Wing and myself are foodies and love the Thai cuisine and are not completely dumb cooks. The cooking school arranged a pickup from our bungalow. On arrival the place looked nice, lots of space. In total we were with 13 people, quite a big group. From a list of... More

I did a morning class at the Lanta Thai Cookery School in December 2014 and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a cooking class in Koh Lanta. First and foremost, the prices and meal choices were much better than some other cooking schools in Koh Lanta. As a group, you are able to choose what you cook which is... More

We took a cooking class in the evening here and I can not recommend this school enough! The location is beautiful with gardens where they grow some of the ingredients fresh. The covered patio is huge and the stations were spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. The teacher Pi (sorry for misspelling!) was obviously exhausted from a long... More
