My girlfriend and I decided to do this evening course. You choose 4 dishes to make over the course of a 4 hour time slot. We went at the being of high season, however there was only 4 of us! This made the experience more personal. You choose 4 dishes as a group, which was easy to do and making... More

Wanted to do a cooking class during my time in koh lanta and chose lanta Thai as it was one of the few schools that catered to vegetarians and said that any meat could be used for a dish (having been a vegetarian for 22 years I have started eating some meat but chicken a day fish only so worried... First time doing a cooking class as it's usual not my thing but bad weather forced me to consider different types of activities. Our teacher made the whole process fun and easy with lots of eating and beer drinking time.

I had a really nice experience here, there was only three of us in the class so it was pretty intimate. The owner was very friendly and so were her family helping us through out the course. The owners child was around too and definitely cheered the place up with all the bad weather. The dishes we chose turned out... More

We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the cooking school where we spent 4 hours on 4 different dishes. The teacher "Pea" was very confident and shared some great trips. I cannot wait to get back to Australia and cook some of these dishes. A recipe book is provided.

I learned a lot of good techniques from this cooking school and the price was much lower than some other places in Thailand. The food was good. The instructor was quite knowledgeable, though I would have liked to see her smile a little more. It seemed like it was too much of a job for her. She did open up... More

Our teacher Pea has a lot of experience in cooking, not only learnt from her grandmother and mother since she was 8 years old, she also learnt from a thai royal chef! She has taught us some cooking tricks which not many people know. And i cant wait to show off to my mother when i get back home. All... More

I was very fortunate to have had a one on one lesson (low season and I think they prefer to teach with a least a minimum of 2 in a class, but Ang, the teacher, must have taken pity on me when I was initially inquiring). I did the morning class. Cooked four dishes. You are also provided with a... More

It was such an enjoyable class, Pea the teacher was lovely and her son TinTin adorable, it was lovely to have a cooking class with a family feel in the room. We were taught about each ingredient, tasting and smelling them before preparing them for our chosen dishes. Starting with chicken and shrimp wontons, then stir fried curry seafood, massaman... More
