Kantiang Bay can be found towards the south of the island on Ko Lanta's west coast. The Bay is a little-known, beach-lovers haven where you can truly relax and soak up the sunshine and beach-life of an island paradise. There's plenty of things to do; live a castaway dream, paddle in the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Andaman Sea, learn to scuba dive, or just make Kantiang Bay your sun-kissed home for a while.

Great Bay that never seemed to have more than 15 people on the beach at any time during the week stayed there. For me it was the perfect mix of isolation but not too much with a couple of mellow restaurants and bars on the beach as well as a few more along the main drag. Can't get much better... More

We scootered all over the island, up and down both sides. This is the best beach we found. I recommend going in time for sunset as it is something extraordinary from this beach. I can't wait to return in the future - I just hope it remains so unspoilt!

Gorgeous beach, very unspoilt but with a few facilities. Lovely for an early morning walk, and looking at the rock pools. A few restaurants make this laid back beach a great place to be! Boats leave from here for snorkelling and diving too - some of the best locations in the world. Would love to visit again one day...

This is a very nice beach to take a photo of whilst at an advantageous position in the hills. It's also a great spot for a dip in the ocean or just a relax on the beach.

We stayed in Khlong Nin area but travelled to Kantiang Bay for dinners and drinks. The beach is nice, although rocky so I wouldnt highly recommend it for swimming compared to Khlong Nin. There is a fantastic bar on the beach, "Why Not Bar" that I highly recommend. Our friends stayed in the bungalows on the cliff attached to Shroom... More

Another stunning bay nestled into the Island of Koh Lanta. This beach seemed to cater for the well heeled. Certainly felt like an older crowd to us. Our driver told us that the Pimalia resort located here is the most exclusive on the Island.

Found this by chance, unlike loads of beaches, where you hurt your feet getting to the sea , even when the tide is out , it's still sandy , the water is really clear. There is a restaurant over looking the bay , the food is fantastic

I traveled down to this beach by motorbike with some friends one day and had a really good time. It was a lot less crowded than some of the other beaches on the island and the water was great for swimming, not too many rocks and things. There was a line of trees across the beach opposite to the water... More
