The Bay is a little-known, beach-lovers haven where you can truly relax and soak up the sunshine and beach-life of an island paradise. There's plenty of things to do; live a castaway dream, paddle in the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Andaman Sea, learn to scuba dive, or just make Kantiang Bay your sun-kissed home for a while. « less

Several great casual restaurants, inexpensive massage parlors and a lovely beach. More for those seeking calm than party but one of the bars on the beach does have live music each night.

This area is beautiful and has lots of restaurants and hotels to choose from but in low season beaches are average.

Only thing odd here is that the drinks come from and are paid to staff at the adjoining Why Not Bar (which is actually a great place). Once you understand this then all else is good. Really good Thai menu plus some western choices. Service great from friendly staff. Location ideal for the beach and moving on to Why Not... More

Definitely the most beautiful beach on the island. It has rocks and is surrounded by a forest (you have to walk down a little path from the main road and I strongly suggest you cover yourself in musquito spray), the sand is pearl white and the water clear blue. The best way to get here is to rent a scooter... More

We visited this beautiful beach during the low season and there was very few people on it. The sand is very clean allowing the kids to run freely playing. There is a section of rocks and had little pools with small fish. My 4 year old daughter loved exploring here. The water is very clean and the waves are fun... More

A few restaurants and hotels right on the beach. 7-11 and more restaurants are on the main entrance to the beach. The Southend of the beach is good for swimming and more quieter

You've got to love this little bay beach. It's just a few kilometers long. Two or three restaurants and hotels that's it. If you aren't staying on this beech you should definitely take his scooter and visit for a quick swim. P It's one of those places in the world that won't last long, get there while you can.

So we were staying on Klong Khong beach which I was thoroughly disappointed by as I love swimming in the ocean and we could not do that here due to all of the rocks. Never mind! This prompted us to venture out and after about 3 days we found the south of the island and Kantiang bay. We saw it... More
