The Royal Thai Wood Carving Centre is only about 10 kilometres from Damnoen Saduak floating markets which we visited on our tour with Lets Tour Thailand. We asked our guide was there anywhere with nice wood carvings, not the mass produced souvenirs that were at the floating markets, so they took us to the wood carving centre. This place is... More

Its just okay....Stop here for about 40min in order to start another journey on evening. Expensive since I don't know what the exact price should be. More

Well worth a visit. See master craftsmen in action. Absolutely mind blowing what they are able to produce at the wood work factory. Lots of souvenirs at very reasonable prices. Best of all is the airconditioning whilst busy shopping. More

We purchased a Buddha statue at the end of July at RTHC in Damnoen Saduak. We worked with one of the managers there, who was very patient with us, as my husband and i took hours deliberating on what to buy. The purchase was relatively quick; we provided basic shipping information and was told it would take 2 months to... More

We have just received our "Terrace Table with 4 Chairs" set and couldn't be happier. We were on a Friendly Planet Tour when our tour guide took us to Royal Thai handicraft. We loved all of their collection and decided to purchase a set from them. From start to finish, it really was hassle free. The salesman even drove over... More

We spent $2000 on a piece of furniture and although they did deliver the item - it was not the item we ordered. Even after sending them a photo of the original item we ordered they simply stopped responding. We travel to Bangkok frequently and will never shop there again. More

I never write bad things about anyone but this is an exception. I spent over $2000 on a large wall sculpture. It never shipped until I raised a stink and then they sent the wrong item. They simply stop answering Emails rather than deal with any errors on their part. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for Thai carvings. More

We went to the Royal Thai Handicraft Center in February 2010 and purchased three large items of art. Having read some of the comments from others, I e-mailed to Royal Thai and always got prompt responses. The pieces arrived in our city as promised, properly packed, insured and without a scratch. Of course, we had to pay for duties, taxes,... More

I have 15 pieces of furniture from RTHC. It is the working elephant design. The dining room table is awesome. What a conversation piece. Beautiful furniture. More

I went to the Royal Thai Handicraft Center in August 2009 as part of a tour. I purchases a teak wood carved bar. The salesperson along with the tour guide assured me that I would receive my bar by December. It is now the end of February and I have been unable to contact the company, the salesperson or the...
