Really looked forward to going given the history and the approach via the jungle etc. After having taken permits and driving all the way down , it was a huge disappointment to see the lake with very water and therefore hardly much migratory birds etc. Might be a season issue (we went in March) . Better to check and travel... More

It is an artificial lake, located in the forest area. It is a far away place and there is nothing to do after reaching there.

View from above is awesome. Lake looks like chipped to size with dark blue color radiating. Meditation works very well veiwing the lake waters.

This place has perfect view. Only bad thing about it is, after reaching to the lake, there is nothing as the government has restricted the area.

First you need a entry pass. Any local taxi operator will arrange that. Berijam lake is the last spot in the route. It has four or five view points which are breathtaking provided the mist and fog shows mercy. It is not as crowded as other spots. Do not hurry. Enjoy the view and climate.

In the en route there is a spot called Berijam lake view. Just stand there facing the lake and close your eyes. If feels so good, i just wanted to stay for ever. It cannot be said in word just go an experience it.

The way to Berijam lake and the lake itself is feast for the eyes, only being an eyewash when you realize that you are not allowed to go any further near the lake and that the tour ends quick and soon. Located in a forest reserve where you would need to pay around 120 bucks per person to have a... More
