Drive around Kodaikanal.

While visiting some of the places near Kodaikanal, we came upon this peaceful site. It is a natural setting. Not good for boating, etc. Forest all round. Good picnic spot.

Attractive place to go with family. But nothing is made available by the forest department. No electricity, no shop and not even drinking water is made available. You need to get permit from forest department if you want to take your own vehicle. The permit is provided between 9 and 10 am only for the first 25 vehicles. Yet you... More

We also encounter bushes of Strawberries and Rasberries along the way. From a distance of say5 to 10 kms we can sight this lake... More

It is little far from city and no boating available here, not much to see here. try to reach before 1 pm as fog covers most of the area after 12.30 pm.

This year again i visited kodaikanal.. the berijam lake trip was one of my awesome trip...This breathtaking lake was a beauty! I was surprised but also landed up admiring the fact that boating has been banned here in order to save fresh water. The lake is beautiful though it is sad to see the amount of trash strewn around one... More

There is nothing great about the lake. The lake is more like a swamp however that the lake is pretty good amazing scenery on the way.. Nice view of valleys and you also pass through the highest point in kodaikanal.. Worth going there for the route. There are forest buses which take you there. Journey takes 2 hours total.. One...
