Enjoyed a carefree outing at the lake where you are alllowed to do boating, cycling, horse riding. The view around is breathtaking with pine trees engulfing you from every side.

I visited the this wonderful lake with my family on 26th november 2014. It is a heavenly lake and a must visit if you are holidaying in the Kodai hills with your family. Just ask for the Forest Tour from a tour operator near the Bus stand complex, because prior permission from the Forest Deptt. is required which they will... More

This lake is covered as part of forest tour by most of the tourist packages. Special permission from forest department is needed to visit. Driver or guide will take care of this. You can also check with travel desk in hotel. Far from the chaos of the city, enjoy in the lap of nature. Even the drive is quite adventurous. Though... More

This is a nice place to visit. The location and the road leading to the lake offers great scenic beauty. The lake is beside the forest reserve and is a must visit

Forest department's permission is needed to go to this lake. Only limited number of vehicles are allowed in a day.As on our visit day the weather was foggy the drive to the lake was wonderful. Drive was like passing through a wild jungle & was a thrilling experience.

Great place to mingle with nature. "Silence please" is a must have sign board in this spot. Has a hiking path connecting to Munnar. You would require permission to go into this area. Your driver / travel desk will be able to get it.

Just the drive to the lake is so Stunning. No picture could do justice to the sheer beauty of this protected place. But then we have such careless tourists who litter everywhere and its just so disheartening to see such behaviour from fellow travellers. Go to this lake to meditate and enjoy the beauty of this world.
