Bear Shola falls

These falls were once popular watering hole for bears. SORRY NO BEARS BUT POPULAR PICNIC SPOT. They are best in rainy season but worth a photo visit.

Do not waste your time going here. We walked all the way from lake to this fall expecting to see nice view.. n it was literally waste of time.. we saw people washing their cloths all washing soap wrappers were floating in the water.

The water fall is great and you can go inside it and enjoy. Also there is a small pine forest nearby which becomes an additionla place to have fun.

By the name of it, Bear Shola falls sounded to be some huge waterfull with water gushing at high speeds. However, this was none of it. It was a pretty average fall of approx 20 mts height and around 15 mts width. For those of us, who have been to northern part of India, this one would not be exciting... More

A beautiful waterfall if you are ready to walk up to it. A gentle 3 to 4 minutes walk on an uneven path - no inclines You just hear the sound of the water and the birds An appeal to visitors - please do not throw plastic covers or left over food items

You walk less than a km.following the sound of water and suddenly you are there.Among the trees, the place is so quite as if you have the direct contact with mother nature. The height of the water falls is not very high, but some thing mesmerizing is definitely there.

Please visit the place in monsoon. Else, there is no water and the location is in extreme inside from the main road. not recommended.

Wonderful to see.One of the best places in Kodaikanal.Do not be fooled by the entrance,it seems as if entering into a dense forest with narrow roads, and big trees and plants coming over you.Just keep on travelling and then at the end,the beautiful place beholds.

This is purely for nature lovers who love rocky terrain and treks. So not great for family and kids. Without proper life jackets, guards and immediate availability of first aid, caution is advised.
