The view of these rocks are simply superb. The entry fee is only Rs 2 per person. The guna cave is also a part of these rocks. A local guy will be atanding their witha binocular. You can view the rocks through that by paying him.

This is also one if the must see things in Kodai. While most of the sight seeing/ view points are disappointing, pillar rocks really looks amazing and will be even good if its misty or raining.

Very scenic place. If sky is clear you can see multiple layers of mountains in fading shades. Look back you will see people made this place more commercialized.

The place is made safely accessible to tourists by having a boundary covering the entire cliff. The view too is quite nice as you get to see some vertical cliffs which look like strong natural pillars and probably that would be the reason for the name. However it is always crowded and the rush to take pics really doesn't appear... More

Don't miss Pillar Rock's in your itinerary. We were thrilled to see such huge rocks standing close to one another. One of the rock resembles vinayagar.

It was very cloudy when I went so I had to wait for the rocks to emerge. Unfortunately it looks like a rubbish dump from the viewpoint.

it was too much fog and we hardly could see anything. But then every hill stations have such places. Beware of monkeys and monkey like guys around. Not venture out and dont go to the place where forest guards are asking you not to go.
