Visited this part of Kodaikanal while going round it. The place, once precipitous has now been constructed with walls and safety measures. Nice mountain side with a view of the rock / crag formations on the opposite mountain. Nice place.

Visited this place at around 12 am during our visit to Kodai. Nothing too great but a descent view, nice spot for some natural photography. It's just a couple of huge cliffs shaped like pillars but it makes a great view when clouds surround it.. A little shopping outside but very crowded unfortunately.

The whole place is full of scenic view and Pillar Rocks is one of them . The rocks look like pillars and deep valley down. It has a small entry fee..

Good views, if there is fog the view will be hampered, some road side foodie places cater to your snacks cravings.

A couple of rocks standing like pillars. Nothing great about it. Another natural element providing a peace of mind at the hillstation..

If you want to spend a good time, there is nothing much here in Pillars Rocks, Its just the view of the rocks and that spot. You can hardly spent 15 mins there.

This is worth visiting while you are in KK , only thing is you should be lucky to have less/no fog that day. We enjoyed it and could have liked it more if it was a day with better visibility.

The spot is again on the same stretch where you come across Guna Cave. Parking is reasonably easy but has a lot monkeys roaming around the parking spots. Be careful of them. Once you pay a nominal entry fee of Rs. 5, you come to a viewing platform, which offers a valley view. As on most days, you will encounter... More

If the valley is shrouded in mist, then indulge in retail therapy at the souvenir kiosks, sample come local snacks, and when the mist clears, click a snap of the rocks and get going.
