Nice place to have a walk along the valley view. You could get some corn and ground nuts inside the place (sold by hawkers). Car parking is along the side of road, no exclusive parking lot. They charge for camera. I wonder, nowadays, people have good image capturing hand phones, still they charge for hand held cameras. Old school idea,... More

Walk at the Coaker’s Walk trail was scenic ! About 10-15 minutes walk ! Very beautiful...we were way above the clouds and you can see tips of far away mountains ! Looking from distance the mountains in the clouds looked beautiful with little villages which looked lovely because we were far enough not to see the mess on ground !... More

I went once in the morning around 8 am. could not see any view due to mist/ fog.path was calm and peaceful. The entire stretch could be about a KM. Nice for a pleasant walk. Again i went around 12pm. it was bright sunny and the view was clear. Lot of road side vendors had put up their stalls. there... More

As my stay was right next to Coaker's Walk, i had the entire view from my suite/ room. So i would advice that visit Coaker's walk at different hours of the day for a completely new experience in every visit.

As alreay planned , we didn't visit any place except Coakers Walk, because few places we already visited during our previous visit (DEC 2011). I don't have words to explain the walking i had in Coakers walk, very good scenary and there... More

Entry ticket is very nominal. Entrance is opposite Bryant park. The walk inside is not well maintained and commercialized with shops along the walk. There are benches at intervals to sit and admire the view. We went on a misty, cloudy evening .... So didn't get much of a view. Will visit again next time only if the sky is... More

On our way to Kodaikanal lake, we stopped here before continuing our journey. For someone not from India it was truly a colorful site with local merchants selling their wares along the walk. A beautiful view of the valley along with a short walk to view it from different vantage points.

Coaker's walk is a fairly decent place to visit in Kodai. It is a km long walk which has valley on one side and hills on the other. There are a few shops alongside. Try to visit this place early in the morning by 6:30 to catch the sunrise.
