I went to Coakers walk early in the morning. The view was awesome. The park had been maintained well but the Public needs to be educated to use the rest room facility. I found a kid who was squatting and ready to defecate as his parents watched him and were standing with a bottle of water. The government should take... More

This is a very good place. 1km stretch for walking. You can see the clouds are passing by and almost can touch it. If you are lucky enough you can also see the sun rise from here...

But truth is that it mostly is too cloudy to see much and sadly vendors are allowed inside making it more a mall than a nature spot - walk 5 minutes more and you will get the view without paying the 5 rupees entrance fee

The attraction is definitely a must visit in Kodai because of the views of the valley which you can see from here. Its a good walk and has few seating spots where you can sit when you are tired walking. Its about 1-1.5 kms walk and you can buy local souvenirs on Coakers Walk. There was an entry fee of... More

Constructed by Lt.Coaker in 1872, is a 1-kilometre (3,300 ft) paved pedestrian path running along the edge of steep slopes on the southern side of Kodai. If you wish to catch the scenic valleys, the best time to visit the place would be before 2PM. But if you want to watch snow-like clouds (only in winter) beneath you form an ocean,... More

Coakers walk is the best place in Kodaikanal. Actually it is a narrow path along one side of mountain Nebo from which one can see the steep slope ,valley ,and other mountains .There is a telescope watch point , chairs also available on along the path to sit and watch. As you walk along the path you can observe clouds... More
