The lake is a beauty. Has tibetan market around it and other shops. There is horse riding around the lake . Fun time... More

A nice place, must try cycling around the lake. it is fun. A market near the lake. Boating is a little ill managed- could be better, But this does not hamper the experience of the beautiful place. Not much commercialized like many other hill stations. Grab something to eat, hire a cycle @ Rs.20/ 30 mins.

Normal Place with a huge crowd. Opt for a pedaling boat than a row boat. You can visit lake in the evening. Also, you can visit the nearby park.

Decent lake , but nothing to write home about. The road around the lake could be made free of vehicles.

As you can expect in India, the lake could have been really beautiful, but isn't maintained properly. The best you can do is take a bicycle and go around the lake and enjoy it. Even better you can do is just walk and enjoy it.
