I visited the cave paintings as part of a whole day trip with Kukki. To be honest, a bit more information about the shape of the day would have been welcome. It was longer than I expected and we should have started much earlier. Having said that, it was a fabulous day full of unique and varied experiences from spotting... More

You could travel the length and breadth of India and not find an archaeologist as passionate about his field as Kukki. Add to this an abundance of sites surrounding Bundi worthy of World Heritage listing and the opportunity to have Kukki as your personal guide and a trip to Bundi will change your view of India's history forever. Over decades... More

A day out exploring the countryside round Bundi, ending at amazing prehistoric rock paintings, was the highlight of my time in India. Kukki was a friend, rather than a guide, introduced me to his friends scattered in the villages, helped me learn about birds and wildlife, and to share his passion for archeology. A privilege to be out with him.

We met Kukki through the receptionist at the Bundi haveli. We spent a fascinating afternoon at his home hearing how his early interest in finding artefacts grew into an all-absorbing hobby that led to his discoveries of over 80 rock painting sites. He demonstrated the colours used by the early painters and I was thrilled to be able to hold... More

I highly recommend Mr. Kukki. I and my boyfriend met him accidently when we were searching for cave paintings and we joined his group. He is such an amazing person, full of knowledge, humor and enthusiasm. After a great tour, during which he shared with us interesting information, jokes and stories (he also was our private photographer :) ), he... More

We highly recommend him for discovering a very unique small city, rich of a beautiful fort with préserved wall miniatures, marble hindu temple, nice market fair... And this unexpected curiosity of wall paintings and dive into history with a delicious Kuki, full of energy and fun.

I can't give this 'attraction' any more than one star, just a waste of time.....SO few images, damaged badly by the touts trying to pretend the images were of historical significance.Concrete filled missing parts of a couple of images. Given it takes at least a couple of hours to get to the site, and given the poor nature of the... More
