This bird sanctuary is situated in such a place which is well connected by train and roads to all parts of India. Situated in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan is heaven for bird lovers. Especially in winters the migratory birds from siberia are main attraction. Youcan travel through it on foot or take a cycle rickshaw available inside the park. It... More

Must visit place for all nature lovers. Had a great time spotting rare animals & birds. We visited Keoladeo Ghana National Park on both the days we were there. Ideal way to explore the park is by walking or cycling & ideal time to visit it is immediately after winters or monsoons.

If you love to watch birds, this is the place. This park has thousands of resident birds and if you are in winter, the place will be teeming with thousands of more migratory birds, from all over the world. The best part is that the nesting places are all approachable and you can watch them from very close range. Local... More

though it was not the right weather for bird watching but still we managed to see some. Rickshwas charged us INR 100 per hour plus cycles were in bad condition still we took one for INR 40. The sanctuary is very big so its better to carry you water bottles and chips to munch.

Bharatpur... for a bird watcher like me is a dream place to go to. I have been there a number of times at different times of the year. The best time to go there, in my opinion is Christmas week and later right to middle of February. There are a number of good hotels... my choice is the Birder's Nest... More

The only thing which I dont like abt this park is your vechicle is not allowed. You have to hire a bicycle or rickshaw. Rickshaw charges are too heavy. Rs. 100 for an hour and they drive that slow they waste 3 hrs just to reach the end point and come back. Without stopping any where. It cpuld be done... More

The bird sanctuary is located in Bharatpur - around 2 1/2 hours from Jaipur. I went in the off season which meant there were very few tourists - it felt as though we had the park just for ourselves No cars are allowed in the park so you either walk, hire your own bike or get driven around by a...
