Did not expect an experience at this sanctuary to be so satisfactory... but it was truly AMAZING! Took a guide who had a better telescope than the others and because of him, saw distant birds with astounding clarity. Spotted many different species and many peacocks. Had an excellent time hiring cycles... Awesome experience!

We had a great time as we went in 1st week of March and the morning was quite cool. We took a rickshaw ride and could stop wherever we wanted. A pair of binoculars added to the fun! We spotted a large varieties of birds, both domestic and migratory birds.

the paths are well maintained and an army of bike rickshaws await to take you thru the park. the bird life varies from good to great and we were also rewarded with antelope, jackals and monitor lizards.

Best season to visit Ghana national park is from mid oct to feb. if you are a nature lover and want to visit migratory and residential birds at their own place then must visit this. In my suggestion hire a cycle and enjoy the inside trails on your own. You will never forget that

We toured the sanctuary in a rickshaw (licensed by the Govt.). Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helped us see a lot of birds and animals. He also gave us a history of the sanctuary. The whole place was so quiet and beautiful! Our tour lasted for 2.5 hours and we were glad we visited the place!
