It's a great place but again poorly managed. It has lots of historic stuff but they are keeping those stuff like in store mean not displayed properly.

this museum is in bharatpur near fort ,this museum is beautifully build up with great collection of articles of ancient time , here you will also find the statues of jain era ,i suugest that if you are to agra from jaipur please visit this museum also.

The museum is inside the Bharatpur fort complex which is a mini town into itself housing structures cutting across centuries.Although a small museum the Bharatpur museum has rich treasures of the erstwhile Bharatpur State.Its sculpture section is worth spending time and have a feel of how religion in India evolved.Other than some Kushan era sculpture it has Gupta era figurines... this is good place to see the thinks of maharaja's. this is very big museum i have ever seen. it's very rich for it's artifacts. they are maintaining it well. it's in the fort call lohagarh. worth a visit.

this beautiful museum is located in Lohagarh fort and it is really big. A very rude lady was sitting there and selling tickets on entry. I was so excited to go inside, but when i went there i saw some people were working inside the building and they told that museum is closed and it would open after one year... More

We visited this Museum during our last trip to Bharatpur, the condition of the Museum is deteriorating and there's nothing much being done to protect it.

The government museum in the Lohagarh fort has a remarkable collection of the Rajput weapons and armour, which is the main highlight of the museum. One can spend time in the afternoon here when it is too hot outdoor to explore the Bharatpur bird sanctuary.
