Davinder is a great guide. He was kind enough to give me a one on one walking tour - spontaneously - when I called. A two hour walking tour turned into a 4 hour walk exploring the old town of Amristar. Walking through the colorful narrow laneways of the old town its easy to miss a hidden gem - and... More

Amritsar has taken the initiative to create a Heritage Walk and Davinder Singh is her worthy Ambassador! This two hour tour takes you through those area where only locals are aware of the historical gems hidden in the back alleys of this magical city. He is totally open to questions and keeps a good pace. To detail what was shown... More

This was by far the best thing to do in Amritsar.. I suggest to do this on the very first morning in the city... You will get a lot of tips right from "what to do in the city" to "where to eat" to "where to buy stuff from".. strongly suggest this walk.

I was in Amritsar for 3 days, and this tour happened rather impromptu. And, I have to say it was one of the better things we did in Amritsar. Amritsar has so much more than the Golden Temple and Jalianwalah bagh. Davinder Singh, seems determined to make that known to visitors. And, only the pace of a walking tour is... More

We had some free time at Amritsar and wanted to get some more flavor of old Amritsar, that's when we hit up Davinder Singh's Amritsar Heritage Walk on TripAdvisor. We decided to reach out to him and book some time. Among the best things we did. It's usually a 2-3 hour walk into old Amritsar, where Davinderji spoke about the... More

Through the lonely planet I found the tourism website which listed 3 guides for the heritage walk. I randomly picked one and I was so glad it was with Davinder. We weren't quite sure what to expect but we do know that we really wanted to understand more about the Sikh religion after living and volunteering 4 days in the... More

I would highly recommend the Amritsar Heritage Walk. Our guide Devinder was informative, attentive, and kind. You felt that he really cared about his city and about us learning about it. He took time to share breakfast with us and answer any questions afterwards. I definitely learned and saw things that I never would have been able to see otherwise,... More
