I read the information about the heritage walk on TA and called Mr Davinder the day before arriving in Amritsar, big mistake because I should have called when I was planning our visit to Amritsar because he provides you with his in-depth and personal knowledge and attempts to understand and anticipate your requirements and knows exactly what to suggest. He... More

We enjoyed the Heritage Walk which lead us through the narrow streets of Amritsar and let us discover many places we wouldn't have even notice by walking alone. The guide was very kind and explained us all we wanted to know and we had a tasty kulcha in a small eatery at the end of the walk.

Amritsar is the cultural capital of Punjab. Its heritage is exquisite, but has been allowed to deteriorate, and lies literally in garbage. nterestingly when the Tourism minister re-inaugaurated the walk, the guide lost his way towards the end of the journey. So he had to take a detour from the specially cleaned up route. Press had a field day on... More

We couldn't have found a better guide to walk us through the alleyways of the holy city. Davinderji is a wealth of information on the city's history and Sikh culture. He is a good storyteller and takes you back to a time when Amritsar was Ramdaspur, a prosperous city of incomparable beauty. Many thanks Davinderji! Teen deviyaan, Mumbai

These were my friend's words she noted down in Mr.Davinder's book. One comes to a place, visits the attractions and goes back with memories which fade after a while. But activities like the "heritage walk' actually befriend us with a city and we can't forget a friend. Whether it was the history of Amritsar when it was established by Guru... More

We have read in Tripadvisor this attraction is a must to see and also got a phone number of one guide named Mr. Davinder Singh 9988503458. We called him and booked our heritage walk for next day around 10:00 AM. Mr. Davinder is an experienced guide, knowing the History and where the treasures of past are hidden in this city.... More

We read about this from others and called Davinder- 099-88-503458. He was very knowledgable and we would not have been able to see all the things without him. It is only 75 rupees per person. Amritsar is a great city and we so enjoyed getting to know it. We hired him later as a guide to take us to more... More

Despite having visited Amritsar and the Golden Temple many times before, I found the Heritage Walk experience to be incredibly informative and also very enjoyable. Mr. Davinder was very knowledgable, and made great efforts to ensure that everyone in my group had a good experience. He was very kind to ensure we had a chance to stop at the most... More
