This was totally unexpected stop from our Wagah border trip. The temple is actually very nice to see and there is another one very near (?). So we saw the evening chanting. Not so crowded as in the Golden one.

I was looking forward to visit this temple for its rich heritage. Temple is located very close to the Hall Gate, which is one of the entry point to the walled old city. There is a small parking facility so its very convenient. A short walk of 100 meters from the road takes you to the entrance of the temple.... More

A Copy of Golden Temple (Too be honest not sure which one is a copy?). Same Golden Temple but Hindu Idols inside. There is a Sarovar similar to Golden Temple. The place also houses an 800 Years only Sheetla Devi temple..

This was a very rushed visit.... very beautiful temple.....we did a parikrama around the sarovar.... Try to avoid feeding the fish - it is punishable by a visit to the local police station ( saw a board mentioning this).... Hope to visit here at a more leisurely pace next time......

This would be an exceptional site if the Golden Temple wasn't in Amritsar. Even with the Golden Temple a ten minute tuk tuk ride away it is worth spending 45 minutes or so walking around. Go from 7:30-9:30 AM when they have the devotional chanting. There are lots of little Hindu temples attached to this Temple. Photogenic but could be... More

One of the best temples I have visited in the country. It has got an old sheetla mata mandir and the main temple is Shri Radha Krishan mandir. Very beautiful place, some would say it as replica of Golden Temple... But its has got its own charm...

I live in Amritsar and occasionally visited temple. It is sorry to state that temple management is not working hard to maintain temple. As well as sarover holy water is also not pure. Maintenance must care.
