Its very quite and simple. The simplicity is its strength. You also have a very strange hanuman temple and a very old sheetla mata mandir . Dont miss them as well.

This temple is very beatiful and would arise and any other city of the world, except in Amritsar. Because it looks like the poorer and smaller little brother of the Golden Temple. Anyway, the visit is worthy if you are going to be more than one day in town. As in Golden Temple you will have to remove shoes and... More

Best to avoid visiting on weekends as it will be very crowded. Best to visit early in the morning, as it gets very hot toward midday. The silver doors with relief images of different aspects of the Goddess and Vishnu are an attraction by themselves. When we visited a group of musicians were playing bhajans in a most enchanting way.... More

As we visited at Holi, we were greeted with lots of colours and left completely covered in different colours. However this is only once a year. It is nice temple to visit anyway, Holi or not.

A temple which is much similar in looks to the Golden Temple but has its own difference and appeal. Quite peaceful as it is not as crowded as the Golden temple and you need to walk lesser distance

This place was not very crowded. The environment is mini duplication of The Golden Temple. Clean and well maintained.

A nice local hindu temple. Walk round the perimeter: there are dioramas showing scenes from Hinduism.

This is a nice place to visit in the morning. You should plan to eat breakfast over there. There have excellent poori aloo in the morning almost right at the entrance. They have a sign prohibiting photography inside the temple but the priest poses for you and tells others to move away so that you can get a nice shot... More

Best picturesque pond and attractive temple. No where you would be asked to spend money. Fishes in the pond are quite impressive. Take a camera and enjoy.
