The temple is beautifully constructed by the management. It is under renovation and parking is under construction. It has 800 years old statue of Sheetla Mata.

Though considered as one temple, there are several small temples within. Surrounded by water on three sides and three deities, entering the temple after washing your feet and feeling holistic reverberations is a true to soul experience to any devotee. You can visit this on your way back from Wagah, its not to be missed.

One main attraction there is that tree where Luv and Kush the sons of Lord Rama had tied Hanuman ji. Also you have very rarest sitting Hanuman ji mufti inside the temple! Loved it!

Another temple in Amritsar, a fair walk from the city centre. Slightly less spectacular and less well kept as the golden temple, though a very similar design. Not a must see.
