Its a hindu temple, it's like a replica of Golden Temple. Nice place surrounded by pool on three sides.

The sheer scale of the temple complex is incorrectly hyped to be as that of the Harmandir sahab Complex. Even the upkeep, maintenance of the place is highly wanting, and shows the callous indifference of the authorities.

Similar to golden temple amidst water, with attractive idols of lord shive, srimannarayan and hanumanji. Nice experience in seeing temple premises

Yes ! Stark similarities with the Golden temple. May not be the same size though and little smaller version. Good thing about these places i that they do not create unreasonable problems with cameras', which unfortunately one find very common in many Hindu Temples. In fact the security guard made some way for us to take a 360 degree virtual... More

Amritsar has a lot of temples and places of worship. The Durgiana Temple being one of them. Situated close to the Golden temple its a 5-7 mins drive. Lot of people say its just like the golden temple but i would beg to differ. It does have a similar structure of marble peripheral area, a pond/tank. a bridge leading to... More

Visited the same day after golden temple.. 10 mins by electric rickshaws that charge approx 50 rupees. The temple itself has 3-4 different avatars of lord Krishna and there is also aHanuman temple and Shitla mata temple in the same complex. There was some construction activity going on, thus was a bit dusty

Almost as good as the golden temple. This temple was clearly built with the Harmandir Sahib as its model (if not more). It's a lovely building with many of the same details as it's larger and more popular twin. The line at the Golden temple was a little traumatic for our children so this seems like a good option for... More
