We didn't experience a wow factor coming to the entrance, which is off a small shopping area. Once we got close we were completely taken with the beauty of its architecture. At the time we visited there were very few people there and it was possible to sit quietly and be part of the spiritual experience. Like the Golden Temple,... More

Durgiana Mandir, an important religious pilgrimage of The Hindus is in the Northern India. It is situated in Holy Amritsar City of Punjab. It is a few yards away from Railway Station & about 1.5 km. from the Bus Stand. This city of Amritsar is pious, as it was visited by Lord Rama, Maryada Parshotam at the time of Ashavmegh... More

This is a beautiful temple of worship which is surrounded by pond on all the four sides . it looks similar in architecture to golden temple Their is no rush and crowds here and one can seek the blessings of goddess Durga in complete peace and tranquility. There is an ancient temple of lord hanuman just next to it.

This is a beautiful construction similar to Harmandir sahib with less crowd. You can visit the temple of Goddess Durga where you will see the temple is in between the pond and is similar to Golden Temple. This place is calm and surrounded with lot of other temples. If you want to visit temples you can plan and go at... More

The temple is beautiful and closely resembles the Golden temple. Hardly any rush or crowd there so the darshan is real peaceful. The temple has also been very nicely maintained. Also, you can find lip smackingly nice chhole bhaturas to eat just outside the temple premises.

This temple closely resembles the golden temple. The Durgiana Temple is a Hindu temple named after Durga. The silver doors are beautiful and carefully look into the pond for images of different gods. Hardly any rush here and is little gem among the rubble surrounding the temple! Absolutely worth the visit!
