It's a bit out of the way from the town centre to the airport, but wrth the small detour. Built under the Biritsh Raj with Sikh sponsorship, it's style includes British, Mughal and Sihk influences. Nice gardens and building, but you cannot enter the buidling as it remains a college of education.

We didn't quite enter the Khalsa college but as we were driving past, we couldn't help but stop and oggle at this massive building. This hybrid of Victorian and Sikh architecture is a marvel.

One of the main colleges in the city, is another place to see, just due to the excellent architecture.

Its a beautiful piece of architecture. A lot of hindi movies have been shot here and agreeably so. The structure is grand. The gardens are beautiful and the view of this building from the road is amazing. You feel you are in some other era.

Lovely building and grounds. Some friendly helpful students came up and spoke to us. There are also the makings of an interesting botanical garden.

Thank Regina P
