Lovely architecture

We saw this place from outside. What struck us was the lovely architecture of the academic buildings. I am sure the students will enjoy studying in such a place.

We were not lucky to go inside the Khalsa college. But the building is simply beautiful!! We stood outside and took photos. There is also a separate wing for women I am told the Khalsa collage is a very prestigious institution.

One of the best campus sites that i have seen in the country. It stands majestically behind the vast ground, alma mater of distinguished members of the society. A must see to all visitors, who are left spell bound on the first sight!

This is a beautiful building with great grounds around it. We drove by it a few times as we were going around the city.

Its a huge premises with a very beautiful fort-type building. Painted white it looks less a college but more like a palace from outside. It is very old college of Punjab.

The college is a must see when to the city of Amritsar. A mere glimpse form the roadside is enough. The building is magnificent and would love to visit it again as due to paucity of time couldn't go inside. One can have a glimpse of it while going to the Wagah border for the retreat ceremony.
