I would recommend seeing the college if you have time while in Amritsar - the best would be if you know someone who attends college currently or who has been a student there. Then you can get a first hand experience of life in this beautifully constructed Khalsa College. It's architecture is beautiful to admire and enjoy.

We did not really have the good fortune to visit the college itself... could just take in a fleeting glimpse on our Wagah border visit... Heard quite some bit about the college from friends in Punjab... and must say our trip to Amritsar is less fulfilling for this miss... Wonderful architecture... with vast lawns out in front. The college looked... More

This is a huge college with unique architecture. See it enroute to the Wagha border. It's about 30 minutes from the center of Amritsar.

The beauty of the College is its building which is somewhat looking like a mosque but also, it gives a touch of Punjabi architecture.

Had gone to Khalsa College for a shoot. The huge structure leaves you with a feeling of 'WOW'. it's got lot of history in it. It's building is probably one of the biggest, I've seen in India. Visit if you can.

At first glance it does not looks like a college. This college has a majestic building with touch of British Architecture. It offers quite a many under-graduate and post-graduate courses.
