The ayurvedic massage makes you feel relaxing physically and mentally. However be careful while selecting the package. We choose a combined package and ended up getting less. The overall massage was supposed to be for 30 mins each, but we had a total of 40 mins!

What can I say? I regularly have body massages and tried fantastic and professional ones before. This place is not the case...you are expected to pay the massage in advance, then you are taking by jeep to this facilities down the hill. Masseur very inexperienced, lots of oil, painful non relaxed strokes, finished massage in 45m, not one hour. Expensive,... More

steam massage are better worth of money than the other massages...you will find these massage and traditional culture so famous there....but most of them is worthless to spend....my preference for next time is to spend my money to stay in hotel and enjoy the beauty of wether rather than to spend in massage and spa stuff

I was recommended this place from my rickshaw driver who was keen to see me get the 2hr massage. I only wanted one hour. First if all it was over 1500 rupees so costly. The masseuse was not qualified. She basically rubbed the oil over my skin with no technique and did very basic movements which actually hurt. All she... More

Had a massage (full body + steam bath) at Mayura for 90 minutes. About 60 minutes massage (similar to full-body, deep tissue massage) and then steam bath for 30 minutes. Facility was rudimentary but staff were skilled. Left feeling rejuvenated.

I echo the other reviews; unclean, oily as hell, no shower facility, questionable whether the staff are qualified.... Need I go on?! Best avoided for a variety of reasons as you can see. My dad's massage in particular was one that will go down in the book; he was put into a room with another man (not advertised on the... More

We family of 5 took complete body massage. Pricey and just average to any other massage. I specially did the shirodhara to experience it in Kerala. Nothing great!!The worst was when my husband was given an some kind of water to drink before his steam bath. That burned his throat and caused nausea. In spite of pleading for help and... More

I along with my family had massage at Punarjani Ayurvedics in munnar, mine for an hour & my parents for 90 minutes. They were expensive by Asian standards and not all that impressive rather we would say it was a horrible & pathetic experience. We believe they claim that they are the most popular in Munnar because we had to... More
