Very good shows. totally enjoyed the time spent here. Best part of the shows was the involvement of the audience in the Kathakali show. The Kalaripattu show was really hair raising and the show was followed by allowing the audience to hold the weapons and take pics. A must visit if u happen to go to Munnar

I would suggest everyone to watch the Kalari act in Punarjani. The entire act was totally mesmerizing. We couldn't take our eyes off for a minute. I tried clicking pics and recording the act but that took my attention away from the performance so I decided to leave the camera aside and watch the act.

If you reach Munnar in the afternoon, try to visit Punarjani Traditional Village that day itself to experience Kathakali dance drama and Kerala Martial Art. Performance of the trainer Unni Guru is an exception.

The village covers 2 aspects 1. Kathak.. The music and dance are both energetic and a must watch 2. The martial arts show... This is the crown jewel. A must watch. Can't be expressed in words.
