The place is about 8 km before munnar while coming from kochi/alleppey.There are two daily 1 hour shows back to back priced from Rs200- Rs300 varying from the choice of your seat location 1- Kathakali 5 pm-6 pm 2- Kalaripayattu 6pm - 7pm Well i saw only Kalaripayattu part as this type of art is going extinct day by day.... Punarjani showcases two integral elements of Kerala’s art and culture Kathakali- the classical dance form of Kerala and Kalaripayattu- the martial arts. We went there to watch the martial arts show. Seating was not very comfortable. However the show was fantastic.

A must visit attraction to enjoy the traditional dance and fight shows. It was very thrilling to watch the fitness of participants and their stunts left an everlasting memory in our mind. Great job guys!!!!

We watched both Kathakalli and Kalaripayattu at this location. The performances and artists were great, but can't be said the same about overall experience. Some aspects where they need a big improvements: - ambience was very cramped and bad for such great art.The stage was as if it was done for a kindergarten show. For a fine art like Kathakali,... Definitely worth to see BOTH performances. Very interesting. Seeing their traditional dances, clothing, performances. There was a guy singing with the dance, he was the star of the show!! Amazing traditional singing. And then the martial arts afterwards, so strong, so passionate. Very talented. :-D Well done guys

The Kalarippayattu show was brilliant. There are 2 performances that happen daily: Kathakali and Kalaripayattu. We opted for the second one. And I loved the show. The performance was amazing. The energy, the movement, and the involvement of the audience. You are see spark off the sword and shield, when they clash.

It was our first place in munnar to visit.. We were not pretty much sure how it would be. Still went to see the show and voila!!! I enjoyed the show alot. Especially, martial arts show performance by small kids and other youngsters was awesome.
