touristy place, so not really my scene, i'm not fan of the dams in hilly places, they are all the same really, this one is not very different, but not a bad family outing and a scenic drive

Nothing outstanding but a one time watch. Don't miss to eat the Kachchi Kairi with Masala. Close to that is the Echo Point where you can do boating also

Although it is a main tourist attraction in Munnar, it is very crowded during the peak season. So you might need to walk for approximately 1-1.5 kms to get inside the dam due to traffic jam by heavy vehicles. It is just like an average lake where you can do boating. It is very expensive though. So overall it would... More

There is nothing too special about the dam. You can do boating, and click few pictures. The stalls around the area are nice and you can buy some touristy items from these places.

Its Part of Munnar City Tour on the Way to Top Station. The Dam and the reservoir are well maintained and u can always see some gates open in the dam but don't expect a mesmerizing view as gates are small. One can take a long walk through the lightly dense Trees and go near the water , dip your... More

This dam is worth visiting. If you are a boating freak, you can enjoy a really long motor boat ride on the river. Or you can simply take a walk across the bridge over the dam. The Homemade Chocolates being sold there are worth a try. But don't stck too much as they melt easily.

We stopped here for an horn. It is a relaxing place where you can spending some time watching the natural beauty. It also has small local market where you can spending some time for shopping hand made goods. Pedal boat option is also available if you have more time.

Good place to see. You will find such lakes in other parts. Family boat is good option if you are in big group.
