Though top station is very far & you need to walk a lot, but its must visit place if you are in Munnar. After a long walk, you have to buy the tickets, then again a long walk through the stairs. The place is scenic & good to get clicked. As we went in March, so it was quite hot... More

This place has a very good view. Avoid on very hot day as you have to walk in sun for long. A perfect point to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Munnar. Its awesome in monsoon.

Unfortunately although it was still dry season (beginning of March) the day we visited top station was rather rainy and misty one. In spite of that I bought a ticket and went there. Besides really picturesque trees in the fog close to the rode it was not possible to see further than 15 meters.I could only imagine what a beautiful... More

The mountainous roads near Munnar are not switchbacks, but corkscrews. Driving to Top Station is hard work, and those with tender stomachs, like me, may be uncomfortable. The view at the top is marvelous. There is a secondary view, the viewing platform is actually lower than the "top" view. I didn't go down to the viewing platform, I had a... More

Went to Top station. It is bit far from Munnar. After reaching there, there is walk of around 400 meters to reach the ticket point. After that point we have to buy the ticket and then reach to further places. Since walking this much, as weather was hot we did not went further after ticket point. Over all its a... More

This is a must see destination in Munnar. Views of the hills around simply superb. In fact our hotel was right in the beginning of Top station road. The road leading to Top station also has great views of tea estates and hills. The drive itself was very romantic

The best thing about Top Station is the 36kms drive up to it from Munnar through the tea estates planted on the hills and valleys in sweeping green waves, green upon green occasionally interrupted by a splash of shocking violet from the flowering jacaranda trees. In the quiet of the morning away from the road the sound of the women's... More
