Visited 30th August, 2014. Situated around 35km from Munnar City, Top station is the last attraction point on the Munnar-Top Station highway (marked as SH18 on the map). This road passes through other attractions such as Photo point, Mattupetty Dam, Echo point and Kundala dam. The road to this point is motorable and there are options of using personal conveyance... It is such an amazing as Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park. It is 30km away from the munnar market. Less traffic compare to Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park.. Only cars are reach there buses are not permitted.

I suggest going there with Binoculars to see the windmills installed in Tamil Nadu. It gives a good view of the surrounding hills but expect this place to be crowded as, probably, it is first place to visit for all visitors. Visit this place as early as possible to avoid crowd. Car parking can be messy here.

Top station is a good visit but you have to walk a lot to get at the point. You see beautiful views tea estates and villages at down. Its like where ever you go in Munnar or nearby Munnar you will find all views beautiful. Ya but we can say that this place is at the top and mostly crowded... More

Its not worthed to go there. One will end up spending for 50 Km in round trip from main city. There are no spectacular views. People there will even fool you for some view where Chennai express shooting happened. We did not see but travellers told that it is no point seeing it.

its a one time visit. gives you open view from the hill top of the plains down there. Nothing much to add. Carry small eats and munches as you may find it difficult to get decent food till you reach back

A crossover between Kerala and TamilNadu. Do visit to see the difference in weather and language! A quick trek down the hill to demarcate between the two states. It is on one end, may take one whole day to cover this side of the place.
