First the travel to Kolukumalai is itself an big attraction. Have you ever moved every part of your body, though you don't intend to, especially to the tunes of Tamil "Disco" songs for 1.5 hour one way journey through a carpet of tea gardens spread from bottom of the hill to the top of the hill.

Visited tea estate here, its great visit. Staff is courteous to show the places and explain. Also great views enroute in the journey. However 15km round trip Bumpy rides on jeep would break your back
Kolokkumalai is around an hours drive by the off road from Suryanelli, Munnar. Only 4 wheeled Jeeps run on that route. Of-course Munnar is having a cold climate but once you reach Kolukkumalai it is like heaven.
