WOW! We did the hike and it was incredible - the views, seeing the staff working, the amazing scale of the place. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Yes, the jeep ride is pretty tough but if you do the hike you skip a lot of the ride. You do need to be reasonably mobile and fit to do this... More

I have visited this tea state with my family and roadside view is lush green. The best part of trip was, we started early in the morning and experienced clouds on the road. Just Amazing!! The only issue was- road are narrow and risky. Best will be if you can hire a driver here. Keep in mind there are Nnot... More

Kolukkumalai is one of the highest tea plantations in the world and it has all the right ingredients for a quaint little post-card style town – sprawling plantations, valleys, brooks and cobblestone pathways. Crossing all this and reaching the top most point to experience the wind carrying away your voice is quite thrilling.Almost 38 kilometres away from Munnar, the jeep... More

We took a 5hour trek within the tea plantations. I would recommend that you do this as you see the tea workers at work, you get to see some incredible sights and therefore take some great photos. It's a great place to learn about how tea is made.

Jeep ride up and down is horrible. You will go up on bumpy road about one hour or more, than you can stay on the top for some short time and visit old tea factory, and than again the same horible ride down. The view is enchanting, but after the ride you might get sick, and you can not to... More

An adventurous jeep ride through jungle clearings, coupled with a breathtaking view of the valley makes the visit more than memorable. The lush green jungle with tall trees and the sounds of the wild makes and interesting visit. Peaceful, tranquil and rejuvenating at the same time.

Last minute search on tea farms lead us to this place. Boy were we glad we did. A must see!! The drive up is as rough as it gets but it's part of the adventure. We set up a jeep from our hotel and a jeep is a must. Very rough terrain and very slow going, 15 KM in hour... More

If you don't mind trekking, I recommend ditching the Jeep and walking up the mountain. Really incredible colors and views.
