It's nice.

Not a horrible place and definitely nice views. However, the tourist management is pretty bad and if you missed this, you won't be missing much.

This is a beautiful green lake across which anything shouted comes back as an echo. The place is beautiful and if you shout and wait, you will hear the echo clearly.

It's situated in Matupetty dam. Park you car on the road and just walk a few meters down on the grassy slopes to the edge of the lake (part of the dam itself) and call out any name. You can really hear it echo. A must visit spot and really beautiful location !

A very scenic place to go in Munnar tour. Dont forget to get some handmade items form the market which are available at good rate. We were there at monsoon season so atmosphere was excellent. Actually , People hesitate go Kerala in monsoon but I feel if you can handle some little problems it is the best time.

I traveled to Kerala in Oct 2004 (my below travel date will show otherwise) while I was on my educational trip from college. This place "Echo Point" is actually worth a stop. The view of the surrounding areas from this point is awesome and makes for a perfect photo stop.

It's an ok spot to visit.. Not extraordinary..one can do boating there.. The sound echo back from the mountains... If one is lucky can get to see wild elephants enroute grazing..

The drive here is cute through eucalyptus forest and some cattle farms. Of course tea plantations dominate the journey. The location is full of tacky shops and a paddle boat tout.

The echo point is nice to see place in munnar. There is plenty of options to reach this place by zeep, auto, even ksrtc buses stop.
