this place is nice and echos when there is less number of visitors. but when there are a number of visitors your voice does not echo.
Echo point is just the extension of the Mattupetty Lake. It does not have many things to offer compared to other places in Munnar except a lot of shops all around and people screaming at the top of their voices to hear the echo phenomenon. But the natural echo phenomenon here is true. You may spend 15 to 30 minutes... More
it really echoooed!!v yelled... and the forest repeated what we said!! n not once or twice but thrice.... i even recorded. and a faint echo could be herd of the one that i love who was far away... felt like the forest was sending my msg to her... felt amazing..
Nothing special - Good for a few snaps. The "echo" part will leave you disappointed. The view is quite good and there is paddle boating facility available. The place was a bit crowded when we were there.
We reached the Echo point on the 25th October with great expectations and it proved to be a damp squib. The Echo point is just another tourist destination which is not worth its salt. One should spend time coolly enjoying munnar tea gardens instead of wasting time here.
One of the must-visit spot in Munnar, Visited with friends & shouted a bit higher for Echo. Nature amidst echo... Mostly crowded, smaller shopping can be done like toys, girls goodies etc.
This is not your standard echo valley point which you get in most vacation spots in Mountain. It is a lake side where you can go for paddle boat, road size eating and shopping. Could not see any echo point though!
nice place to have boating without life jacket, coconut water, big wrist watch style wall clock. wind speed is nice. really enjoyable
