Once you get down the steps to the echo point you will be surrounded by the Photographers who take pictures for Rs. 30. You can also do the pedal boating. They... More

This is one of the most famous destinations in Kerala. The point is famous because the voice echos back if you shout out loudddd enough. However, even otherwise the surroundings are beautiful. There is a river and long trees on the other side of it. There are also some other activities around this place to keep you busy

Does what is says on the label - if you shout out, you will get an echo. I was a little underwhelmed at Echo Point, the surrounding areas are so beautiful and this seemed like quite an average view point. You also had to pay to get past the fence that allowed you to get down to the water. But... More

Long travel to reach to the Echo Point.. but then once you are there its just about OK to shout your lungs OUT to hear back the echos.. we could experience it at a lot of other places where we faced the hills.. so didnt have a novelty factor here.. but just about everywhere!

Didn't find it really very interesting. Very crowded with tourists which resulted in it getting dirty. Boat rides were available but looked dirty.

Try avoiding it. This is the area where businessmen wants to sell their goods and hence made this place as important place. There is nothing special in this area.

Its a great place to visit. Instead of shouting to check echo of the place , just enjoy the beauty and the silence of the place. Sit with your friends at some silent side (preferably right side) and enjoy soothing sound waves of water and air.

View is beautiful. Falls in the same route as Matupatty Dam, Kundala lake and Top Station. Can give a miss if you are short of time.
