It's an absolute waste of time getting down at this "attraction". This place was too crowded and too noicy to try to listen to echo. And view from this place is also not all that great. My recommendation is to completely avoid this place if you are visiting Munnar. Trust me. You wouldn't miss anything if you do not visit... More

I went when it was just starting to monsoon, so it was empty and kind of sad looking with the paddle boats laid up on the shore. I'm guessing it would be much more beautiful when full. The garbage all around the shore did detract from it.

Excellent view. Nothing much to see or do, you will be able to go boating if the water level is good. Good place to sit and have a hot cup of tea.

We visited this place during our family vacation in Munnar. This place is located near a rivulet and there is a natural echo phenomenon due to presence of a valley and mountains near by. If there is a wind blowing in opposite direction then there will not be any echo. There is a small flea market in the vicinity which... More

Lovely and the echos are loud and clear!! Loved it! Boating can be done as well, if the water level permits.

Going by different user reviews, most of thm cudnt find or get echo of their voice..i think the authorities should place a board there.. The place offers a good view of lake and mountains as seen in pictures.. The place shud be better maintained..

I don't know why they have named it Echo Point. There was no echo in this point. There was nothing to do also in this point. The only happening place around this point were markets. I would not suggest anyone to go here unless they have so much time to spend here and no place left to cover.

This place seems to be the back end of the catchment area of a small dam. It was quite crowded due to summer vacations. Quite a tourist attraction !!!!
