If you want to get yourself clicked this is one of the places where you should be, amazing view of the mountains and as the name suggest one can hear the echo as you shout.

The place is very scenic, like most of the spots in Munnar. However, dont expect anything great than an average 'Echo point'. I wouldn't count it as a 'Must see' spot, but still you won't miss this attraction, since its on the way to Mattupetty - Top Station route which is the typical/most popular sight seeing route. You'll find a... More

Best Part of Echo Point is Scenic Drive from Munnar which takes about 30 minutes, post Traffic in Munnar once out of city we can actually breath Freash Air and Hill Slopes take all the Tiredness away. It is quite a good place to click few good snaps and have a hot cuppa of Tea and do some shopping of... More

Have been there last year. The views are awesome and so is the experience spending time out there. It must be more relaxing during winters I believe. Overall an ok experience but can be worked out a bit more to attract tourists.

Can be avoided if you have seen echo points elsewhere. Its on the way to top point so you might just want to stop if you have kids with you. Normal shops are there outside.

If you have free time and nothing else to do, then you can plan to go Echo point. There is nothing special. The place is scenic, good for getting nice backgrounds. Echo of voice is not so clear. We 4 shouted together then we only could hear some proper echo. There are several shops selling various items.

Well, going by the name, you'd assume that this place would be isolated and you can spend some quality time. However, it's more of a commercial place and you'll hardly find a place isolated from others. But still a good place to spend some time, reaching out to bottom for the effective echo, and to the water further down (... More

Probably used to be amazing. Now it is overrun with shops and paddle boats all of which you saw at one if the Dams up the hill. No real Echoes either. Big Tip: don't use the public bathrooms, even for a No. 1 . Hold it until you get back to Munnar or find somewhere in the forest!
