The trip to the National Park is operated by the Kerala Government with only 6 buses that ply to and fro from the base to the top of the hill. I was visiting on the 24th Dec and I had to wait for nearly 2.5 hours in a queue to get into the bus which took me to the National... More

Done expect to see any animal. Park officials have kept two goats to avoid tourist backlash. The information center boasts of elephants, wild cats like lion, tiger !!

My 5 year old summed it up by asking this to her mother - "Mumma, is this heaven?" I have no idea where she got this idea from but really awesome view from here. The two and a half hr wait to get tickets was absolutely worth it.

Only the view is excellent, green tea gardens below the hills. But there are no wild animals. You may find this waste of time and money. But this is crowned with nature.

I had to wait for 2 hours for tickets to the park. But the walk inside the park was worth it. You forget yourself with the views and the sighting of the Nilgiri Tahr

Best place to enjoy the view of the valley. I went with my family so could not go for hiking and adventurous stuff. This is the next best thing. Bus ride to the top is awesome.

the journey is very tedious uphill and the trecking part is enjoyable provided one catches the glimpse of the Nilgiri Tahr which is found there in the rajamalai hills and is almost extinct all over the world. The trip is a waste otherwise. not recommended for couples with small babies.

This park was supposed to have some rare breads of cattle but we could not even see a monkey. After your car drops to at the ticket point, you will be taken in a bus on a 4 KM ride with some great views and then you will have to climb 1 KM to see some more view points. The... More
