Everywhere you will find tea gardens. View of hills with tea plantation is wonderful. You can also visit tea museum where you will come to know how tea plantation started in Munnar. Guide also explains the benefits of tea and you will be able to see pilot tea manufacturing unit.

The views are absolutely stunning! The best views are when you are going uphill towards Munnar. Reaching Munnar, it's all very commercial and nothing interesting to do, but the trip itself is worth it. Visit during the winter months to avoid crowds, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Visit a tea factory if possible and learn how tea leaves are processed.... More

It was great to learn how tea is cultivated and how it undergoes the transformation before it is in the shape we all know.

We walked for few hours through these wonderful and lush green tea gardens to top of a Hill in Munnar. This was highlight of my trip to Munnar - challenging and exciting. Remember to take a Ayurvedic massage post this trek.
