The tea gardens are cool and breezy. They are the highlight of Munnar. You must take a morning walk in the midst of the tea gardens. Very refreshing.

Munnar, as expected is covered with a canopy of tea gardens. Well maintained and lovely to look out. Hold the hands of your partner and start a stroll in the garden. You would forget the time

It was our first experience to visit this beautiful tea garden. Like other tourists we also bought tea packets.

The views are absolutely stunning! The best views are when you are going uphill towards Munnar. Reaching Munnar, it's all very commercial and nothing interesting to do, but the trip itself is worth it. Visit during the winter months to avoid crowds, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Visit a tea factory if possible and learn how tea leaves are processed.... More

Munnar is synonymous with Tea Gardens and the very first site that confirms that you've arrived at Munnar. The Tea Gardens starts from Chithirapuram and goes upto the top station area. Most of the tea gardens in Munnar are owned by Kanan Devan Hills Plantations (KDHP) and some in the Pallivasal area are still owned by the Tatas. Please visit... More
