Visit Munnar to visit the Tea Gardens. Just drive around or walk and enjoy the scenic beauty and the fragrance of the tea gardens. Stop at any of many tea factories and have a hot cup of tea....If you are lucky the scenery will be augmented by mist and slight drizzle in a matter of minutes. More

Comparing to other hill stations in south india, Munnar has the best tea plantations, the views were amazing. I liked the tea plantations in the road leading to top station. Very nice view of clouds descending into the rolling mountains with green covers of tea. I couldn't try out Kollukumalai in Munnar which seems to have the best tea plantations. More

I loved walking through a tea garden on the way to the dam. There was not a soul in sight and it was possible to walk in the pathway betwen the trees and savour the beauty. Do not litter please, or these private gardens will soon not allow travellers inside the gardens. More

We went to a private small tea garden having lovely water pond and children paling activities and boating too. We spent around 4 hours there in tea garden. This was undoubtedly a great experience to be there at world's best tea gardens, as I have seen North East too, but this was the best in all respect. Landscape view of... More

If you indeed want to see tea gardens the best way to explore them is to have car/taxi to Top Station. In that case you can have a stop in gorgeous tea plantations. Otherwise bus might be a problem to enjoy this beauty. More

Loved discovering new trails with the family every morning and evening. Great roads and rails to run. The tea served at the bungalow is also very good. The bungalows should also consider serving some excellent quality coffee More
