Good to see tea gardens spread all over. Experience of its own kind. You see tea gardens on both the sides on a drive in and around Munnar and it makes one feel fresh.

It would be good if you could go inside those tea gardens, there are few openings which you could find to enter into tea gardens but beware from Leeches in flowing water and also beware from loose land. Its an awesome place for photography so please take your best camera... More

Tea gardens are best thing to visit in Munnar. You will find them everywhere like a green carpet spread all over town. You can do trekking too.

Tea is what is found aplenty in Munnar, that is after all what it is known for. If like me, you cant help recollecting that thousands of acres of virgin shola forest were decimated and... More

The entire town of Munnar is clad with beautiful tea gardens. You can see them while travelling in buses, cars, auto rickshaws etc but it is best to just walk through them. I did a half day trek where I walked between the tea plantations and then climbed to the top. The entire experience was blissful! There are also a... More

the best part about Munnar is its tea gardens. The greenery and landscape of the tea gardens are amazing. You can see a complete valley of gardens and even get picture clicked as a tea picker.
