While we are visit the tea gardens, we are shown the history of munnar. Then we get to know the importance of green tea. We are then shown the process how TEA is made .. the complete process of cutting , crushing, soaking , hot air and so on.. good to see the process.. worth visiting once

Although I am a southerner I have enjoyed more of my time in northern part of western ghats.People are more friendly and safe to go around Maharashtrian part of Western ghats than anywhere south....even during nights...thats my opinion maybe I am wrong...Munnar has different kind of landscape....its is much higher in altitude than any northern part of Western Ghat's...If I... It is not a special attraction. It is synonym for Munnar. If you want to enjoy tea garden then you must visit TATA's tea garden. They are bit away from the city. You must see how well planned structures with designs are made. went there on 17th aug. the roads are spectacular. narrow in places but the bus drivers are very kind. they stop and guide you. the tea gardens rise and fall as if the land beneath them is sighing at every turn of the road...awesome

Nice place very good view. Lots of local photographers will be there. we negotiated for one person to click photos in my camera and paid basis no of photos clicked

The tea gardens are at every corner of munnar and they are excellent!! Beautiful landscapes all around. However, beware of leeches are they are tend to stay in the Tea gardens
