Can't believe you could actually walk on his dessert! Amazing sal crystals. Best time to go is November-January when the salt crystals have formed. A defo must go see!

This place is amazing; with miles of area covered with salt. Though we did not stay, but I can imagine that it will be wonderful experience to be there at full moon night. I would definitely like to visit again during Rann utsav.

It is a beautiful drive to the white dessert. We reached here at 4 pm. the place was awesome and hustling with people. This is open only from December to March. They also have cottages there but too exorbitantly priced. One of the best places to visit in Kutch region.

The Rann is the star attraction of Kutch! It is a unique geographical feature of salt encrusted sand making you feel you are in the midst of a white desert. This is made more surreal when seen on a full moon night.

Very nice, serene & captivating place. Naturally formed every year after monsoon. Best time is during Ranotsav from end Nov till March. It's waste of money if you stay in tent - city. Instead, stay in Bhuj & hire a vehicle (on a full moon day), reach there at around 5 pm, stay till 2 am, return to Hotel &... More
