Even though its not a pilgrimage, it is one of the most beautiful wonders of nature which even if man tried will never be able to replicate in such sheer vastness and beauty. A blanket of white interspersed with what one feels is water (mirage) and some water as well in... More

Must see the salt desert, shining like crystals both in day light and moon light, simply serene. But should see as early as possible when the season starts, as people walking over ruin the beauty.

This place is unbelievably beautiful.white sand looks marvelous on a full moon night. The travel to the place might be a little tiring but if you are visiting in the winter once at the place you will never feel like leaving.

It is basically a shallow salt water lake. Divides and is a part of India Pakistan border. My tour guide suggested to come when there is full moon, preferably in the night when its much cooler than day. I would definitely come back again and take his advice. I must add that despite of the weather, i found this white... More

The White deserts of rann of kutch as mesmerising to say the least. It's a geographical wonder which has to be experienced. The months of January and February are ideal to witness this spectacle and of possible should be planned around full moon night.
