In last visit, I could see a wedding happening at Se Cathedral and it looks amazing. Of course we were visitors so only could peep through for some time. This time saw it completely and it looks good. However the lighting was not there. Good place, worth visit.

It may be the largest church in all of Asia, but it is a little on the stark side inside. The exterior facade and the bell in the tower are quite impressive, as is the size of the interior. I bet it was amazing in its heyday when it was full of worshipers, but now it seems a little lonely.... More

It is a huge white washed structure, but dark and damp and dinghy inside. There are no lights, and nothing much of interest to keep you focused even for a few minutes.

This church is nice. But it could've been nicer if they try to maintain the cleanliness and restore a bit and paint the church. I am wondering if this church is still operating because when I went here the church looks abandoned though there are few visitors..

This is just opposite to the Bom Jesus Basilica. It is an old cathedral and worth a visit if you are visiting Old Goa.

Se Cathedral is the largest church in India. The church is located opposite to Bom Jesus church and this stands in a very large property that is well maintained with lawns and pavements. The view of this church from a distance is too good. Looks like some of the western churches with its tall and large structure, painted pure white... More

Se Cathedral, also called Se Cathedral de Santa Catarina was first built in 1510 (quite a few churches in Goa were built in 1510 when Afonso de Albuquerque defeated Adil Shah on Catherine day). The church was over time enlarged, rebuilt, completed in 1619 and consecrated in 1640. The maim altar in the cathedral is dedicated to St Catherine. On... More

This place could do with some TLC, especially given its history and fact it's the largest in Asia. If you are Catholic don't be offended by the Indian crowds who will not shut up despite signs everywhere asking for silence and respect and who will drop their rubbish, fag ash and have their mobile phones ringing at every opportunity.
