the promenade at dona paula has its own character. Its a nice walk down to the harbour area. You can view the entire stretch of south Goa from here. water sports activities are carried out at nominal rates.

We went there in the evening , it was pleasant weather with nice breeze, so enjoyed the outing.....our driver told us that The harbor/place was a village renamed after a great lady who was respected by locals . We also clicked beautiful sunset pictures at the site....

Pictured in the movies Ek Duje Ke Liye and Singham, this place is named after a historical figure in Portugese India. We were there in the monsoon so couldn't enjoy the jetski.

The beach view is different. It's mostly a residential neighbourhood around and hence is very different from most of the other beaches in goa. Calm and serene place. There is a walkway area in Dona Paula. Good to spend an evening or maybe a place to consider if you are planning on an extended stay in goa.

The only good thing was that the Beach was not crowded and the promenade was not littered. But the water was full of litter and garbage.

Lovely view of the sea and the river from Dona Paula. When we visited, the tides were very high and lashing on the walkway made for viewing the sea. But the view from the viewing point is breathtaking, making this a must visit place.
