The beach view is different. It's mostly a residential neighbourhood around and hence is very different from most of the other beaches in goa. Calm and serene place. There is a walkway area in Dona Paula. Good to spend an evening or maybe a place to consider if you are planning on an extended stay in goa.

The only good thing was that the Beach was not crowded and the promenade was not littered. But the water was full of litter and garbage.

Lovely view of the sea and the river from Dona Paula. When we visited, the tides were very high and lashing on the walkway made for viewing the sea. But the view from the viewing point is breathtaking, making this a must visit place.

Dona Paula Bay is a popular tourist spot in Goa..its a must visit place in terms of the views it offers. Ample photo opportunities to make your trip memorable..Ideal time to visit the place is just before sunset..You will need to climb some 40-50 stairs to reach the top of the viewing point...It surely is worth the effort...Lots of small... There's a jetty leading out to the port. Some stairs up to statues which I've been told had some stories behind it. The place is popular due to some Bollywood movies have been filmed here. There are stalls selling snacks, drinks and your typical souvenirs along the jetty. Nice place to go to watch the sunset/sunrise or early fishing off... More
