Presently the road work is on near the Dona Paula jetty area and the vendors make the access even more cumbersome. Its a regular jetty with average setup. Not something you would regret missing out on your stay in Goa.

Dona Paula is better for the sights that you get from there rather than the beach. Lovely spot where you can see rivers Mandovi and Zuari meeting the sea but thats about it.The area is also good for water sports for the adventurous. It is unfortunate that the approach road is full of hawker.

Quite area on the outskirts of Panaji City. On the top of the hill the local bus starts and cost just Rs.9/- for the local and Rs.10/- for the rest of us to take to Panaji. Lots of small hotels that are located in this area. I found personally found the area quite pleasant and enjoy both the sunsets and... More

Dont plan a visit at this place..when you have better options to enjoy. There is nothing to watch here although you can plan an evening visit only.

The road to the Jetty is under construction. I think they are putting in place cement road. Whatever, no new year celebration organised at the jetty market. Because of bad approach road, Hotels in the Jetty did not have good occupation this year end. There is no beach to stroll as such... water sport is available....

Dona Paula is the place from where one can see the best of the sunsets on a clear day. On the first day of our trip this time, we saw this beautiful spot. As the connecting road was closed for repairs, our driver took a diversion and we reached the beach comfortably with minimum walking. The beach is crowded, more... More

The view from here is fine but approach road was very bad, might be some construction is going on on the main route. A place to visit once but nothing very awesome about it.

Access to vehicular traffic is closed due to ongoing road work. The beach was small and smelly. View from the pier was nice, though not worth the effort of walking a considerable distance from the car to the pier, with a one-year old hanging onto you.

A great place for spending the evening especially for couples. The Dona Paula Beach is also a major tourist attraction. According to a local myth, Dona Paula entombed in the Cabo Chapel, the residence of the Governor of Goa and is supposed to be seen emerging from the moonlit waves wearing only a pearl necklace.
