Dona Paula is a rocky headland jutting out into the Arabian Sea, overlooking the Marmugao Harbour. It lies in between the Zuari and Mandovi River estuaries, and is about 7 km south of Panjim. There are a lot of myths and stories of a Portuguese lady by the name of Dona Paula who lived here in the 17th century. It... More

Its a great place to visit, there is no two ways about i. When i went here, it was monsoon. Crowd was sparse. It was raining heavily, but by god it was propbably the most beautiful and perfect time to be here. The wind, the cool climate, the rain water. As romantic as the Dona and Paula story which gave... The Dona Paula Beach is around 45 mins drive from North goa. The best time to visit is during monsoon when there is less crowd. The only thing to do here is river cruise. Can be avoided if you are just visiting goa for a short tirp.

Dona Paula located on the beautiful and famous sea stretch that spans from Panjim, During the tourist season Dona Paula transforms into a crowded stretch which is otherwise a calm beautiful place during monsoons.

We stayed at a hotel near. There's no beach, its a tiny, dirty cove with a small amount of sand... you would not spend more than 5 mins here. The view point is also nothing special, grotty and not worth the effort.

This place is covered in the South Goa trip, not actually a beach but a view point amongst some rocks and a small concrete bridge. You get a very good view of the city on one side and the sea from the other three sides, good place for getting some good clicks. However some of its beauty has been taken... More

The Dona Paula view point is just a tiny rock (more concrete actually) island a few meters off the coast that you walk to via a concrete bridge. Not worth the effort of getting there.
