This is most visited beach in goa as calangute beach is over crowded while asheen beach is peaceful and quite. Some good continental and speciality restaurants are in this area. One night club is also in this area.

The hotel is located in Panjim near the markets so location wise its quite good. The hotel has a good room service and good breakfast spread. We were lucky to get upgraded to a higher category. The area by the pool overlooking the mandovi river is a perfect place to chill - we just sat there for hours in the... More

One of the last places I visited on my recent trip to Goa. Baga,Calungute,Vagator etc had been our first hand choices But the moment i stepped on the beach, i regretted not having this amazingly serene and beautiful beach at the top of my itenerary. Free from unwaranted commercialization or human indulgence, this beach is at its natural best. Calm... More

Hardly any area where I had a dislike. I have visited churches, temples, liaised with local people. They are very co-operative. Taxi cars / Autos are also low priced and good people as a whole.

My favourite beach in north goa! The water is so calm, it's almost like swimming in a lake. Just my kind of beach. Lots of restaurants with beach chairs and umbrellas too.

This was one of the most peaceful and beautiful beaches I had seen in North Goa. We spent a good amount of time here. The water was calm and shallow except for few waves here and there. This is a rocky beach so one had to be a bit careful and watch out for the flags

Ashwem, situated in north Goa is one of the best beaches in the state. Clean and scenic, its far from the maddening crowd of most Goa beaches.

We loved this beach. It had only one beach bar (had an excellent meal here) and one small clothes shop and was the exact opposite of touristy Baga Beach. No water sports. We were enchanted when cows strolled past! Come here if you want photos of empty beaches!
