Great for walking at low tide, pretty scenery.Good massage from the Amore centre, though quite basic facilities.Massage opportunities abound. Packed cheek by jowl with restaurants and guest houses. Very windy the days I visited.Ladies on the beach keen to sell you a sarong or two.

We stayed here for last week of our honeymoon. We loved it. The beach is beautiful, calm and relaxing. We saw our best sun sets here. The accomodation that lines the beach is of the best quality in Goa. Every resort/ hotel is in stylish. This beach is suited to couples and families and those looking for a relaxing time.

A place out from the crowd. Serene and quiet beach to be in. We drived all the way from Vagator to Ashvem on the recommendation of our hotel owner. Nice and clean beach.

For those looking for a quieter time in Goa, Ashvem is the place to go -- the beach is beautiful with several excellent places to eat, lounge, do yoga, etc.

Chilled by Ashvem beach everyday in front of the Black Horse shack. Wonderful service, very few people (read no oglers) and an extremely peaceful time away from the city. Just what we wanted!

We have used Ashwem beach for the last 10yrs or so. Daily we will ride from Baga area on hired motorcycle takes about 30min each way allowing for Cattle/Pigs/Monkeys/Mongoose/Falling Coconuts/Idiots/ Potholes/ Speed bumps. We tend to pitch ourselves down around the Golden Goa / Black horse / Boomerang shacks on the beach. Late morning but well before Lunchtime some of... More

Brilliant! Awesome! for goas beaches. Though it still may be short of being best in India but for us it was good. If you visit goa go to this place for white sand beach and rocks and solitude. Go with your camera for sure.

I liked the expansive beachfront, sand is fine and water is not too cold! It's peaceful you can almost do meditation on the beach.
