Scuba Roatan prides itself on providing professional service sprinkled with a generous amount of personal attention. Scuba Roatan is a new dive shop by name here in West End, however, it's definitely not new to the diving scene in Roatan. Owner Rino Jackson is a second generation local divemaster/instructor with over 7000 dives on the reef and still gets excited each and every time he heads out into the blue. Scuba Roatan is a small shop that specializes in small groups and a family friendly atmosphere with completely customized service.

Great Diving, nice people

The Guy who runs the dive center is super friendly and very funny. The prices are very good and the dives were great. I really can recommend it.

Two never-evers. We took the "Discover Scuba" class with Chip. After a very short classroom session we were shown the basics of the gear then got right into the water. Chip went nice and slow and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. We did some more basics that would help us during the dive and get... More

Thank you Rino & staff for some great last-minute diving !! I had dove with Rino on previous trips to Roatan when he worked at his dad's dive operation.... very proud of what he has accomplished on his own !! First Class Dive Operation !! And you married a Canadian gal -- definitely a 5-Star Operation !!

Wow- what a tremendous experience diving one of my most desired destinations. My daughter and I arrived on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas for one day only and I had made arrangements to dive with Scuba Roatan weeks ahead- we were excited and ready to go. I did not want to do the "cattle call" dive excursion with the... More

I arranged a two tank dive with Scuba Roatan on the day we were in port on a cruise hoping they would be better than than the operator the cruise lines use, Anthony's Key who I had a bad experience with. They were easy to deal with by email and were prompt replying to questions and making arrangements about equipment... More

I returned to Scuba Roatan in May 2015 based on my excellent experience scuba diving with them in June 2014. Things were a little different this time - my friends and I were free diving, not scuba diving. Scuba Roatan differentiated itself by first taking us out (not all shops would) and also ensuring we had a wonderful experience. I... More

My boyfriend and I spent a few days diving with SCUBA Roatan. He did his advanced course while I came along for fun. We absolutely loved it. Reno (owner) was kind, welcoming and generous and the rest of the staff were a pleasure to get to know. Even after we had finished diving, the staff was always friendly and great... More

What a fantastic dive experience! My girlfriend and I took the open water PADI course and had Chip as our instructor. Not only was he a great teacher, but he was super fun and made us feel really comfortable and safe throughout our training. His passion for diving and the marine life in Roatan is great; he is super-knowledgeable about... More

I was looking for a native owned dive shop that could provide small dive groups and give special attention to my 11 year old PADI certified son. I really lucked out finding this place. The service, equipment and people were excellent. Rino (pronounced Reno) stayed close to my son on our dives and gave him the undivded attention and guidance... More

Need I say more?! This dive shop showed us a Caribbean Reef Shark, possibly the most rare creature on the reef, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! It was a great honor and thrill to catch a glimpse of this amazing creature in its natural habitat for a brief moment. It was a juvenile, having a scuffle with a school of large... More
