Located in the heart of West End, Coconut Tree Divers is the oldest PADI IDC Centers on the island. The shop offers four daily dives: the morning boat leaves at 9:00 AM for two dives and returns at around 12:30 PM. The afternoon dives go out at 1:00 and 2.30 respectively. Night dives are available every Tuesday and Thursday. The shop's second boat, Wish U Were Here, is dedicated for cruise ship visitors on various cruise ship schedules. There is the option of a one day experience program, PADI Discover Scuba Diving, for those who want to try scuba diving for the first time. The program involves some basic theory in the classroom, a short session in shallow confined water, followed by a 45 - 60 minute dive in the afternoon. The shop's friendly, experienced staff will guide you through the various dive sites in Roatan's reef system. Nitrox and Trimix are also available. Snorkelers are also welcome.

We want everyone who is interested in learning how to dive or for those experienced divers to know we wouldn't go anywhere else for this experience in Honduras. Gay made us feel so welcome the minute we walked in their building. They gave us a family oriented feeling.....something I wanted since I was with my two daughters and wife. With... More

I can't say enough about Coconut Tree Divers. We've been diving for 12 years and have never been treated so well. My husband and I did a refresher with Tom and Rachel and they were absolutely great. My 11 year old did a discover scuba and his instructor Chris was amazing with him. My parents and younger children went along... More

2 week vacation on Roatan. 3 teenaged boys did their referral dives with CTD. Hubby and I were already certified, but I did a refresher since it had been awhile since I dove (actually just dove with the boys at the beginning). We did 13 dives with CTD - always great. Gay is the heart and soul of the shop.... More

There's a reason these guys are the best--they make you feel welcome the second you step into their shop! I was greeted with smiling faces every day for the month that I was here! Even when I wasn't diving, this was my favorite place to hang out and chill with new friends. Gay and PJ are incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable... More

I only did one dive with Coconut Divers : the night dive. Awesome dive. Lots of sea urchins, lobsters, octopuses, and various marine animals you see only at night. Very skilled instructors and nice team. I'd recommend them. Only negative part : the worn out shoes I got for my dive. Otherwise the equipment is well maintained. I want to... More

My 12 year old daughter and I had the best time and experience with the Coconut Tree Diving team. We both signed up for the open water course and it was such an awesome experience. We learned so much and the dives were beautiful and fun. Will, Rudy, and Abby were all very informed divers. They took the instruction slow... More

have been to Coconut tree divers twice and have had two very great experiences. I was there in Summer 2014. I’ll get right to it what makes this place amazing. For me, on my first trip, I appreciated the knowledgeable staff and friendliness. I had not dive in two years and took a refresher course with Emilie…1-1 by the way.... More

My boyfriend and I took a Carnival Magic cruise and had a day in Roatan to do the Discover Scuba course. I have been scuba diving a couple times and it was my boyfriends first time. Gaynor was great at communication and answered ALL of my nit picky questions promptly! (she is also super friendly and warm in person!) We... More

I was paddle boarding the first time in Half Moon Bay and after almost being taken out by another dive shop boat, Coconut Tree Divers came up on us entering the bay, they slowed down to wait for us to enter and proceeded slowly so to not knock us down. So courtesy! Unlike the others that passed. Their concern for... More

Did the discover scuba diving with Scott. it was great, he has put me at ease despite my fears. And the 60m dive was awesome. We saw plenty of fish and coral. The desk lady, witch i don't remember her name was very helpful, lovely and talkative ;).
