We booked a tour through Maya'ch Expeditions in Coban to Semuc Champey, Kan'Ba Cave, and Lanquin Caves. We drove from Pana to Coban because we had read and heard how beautiful Semuc Champey was - well, we were somewhat disappointed. While the pools are pretty, it is certainly not worth the trip. From Coban it takes almost 2 hours to get to Semuc Champey (very bumpy ride, do not suggest driving yourself unless you have an SUV).... more
