Such a warm place, breath-taking nature, peace everywhere, history in every corner. It is totally worth visiting.

Very beautiful and holy place. Everyone should visit it! It feels wonderful and very real! A unique view of the lake!

We hired a driver to bring us out to the Monastery and we are so glad we did. Not only was he a local who was able to give us a bit of history there and along the way, but we were also able to take in the beautiful scenery as we drove there from city center. I appreciated this... More

Wonderful place.Lot of green but commercial.lot of tourists leave lot of money and they want to take as more as they can.For example for the trip by boat in springs at first asked for 300den for 2pax and then 600den...Awful....but except from this very nice place....

It was just Ok. Nice bus trip. I would not pay a taxi to go there. I ate at the local restaurant... Cuba libre. That was good. I enjoyed it but if you miss it .. No worries

The monastery is just over the border with Albania on the shore of Lake Ohrid. The grounds are beautifully kept with peacocks strolling around. Saint Naum is a popular Macedonian saint. We visited the weekend Saint Naoum Monastery. It is situated only 29 klm fron Ohrid town. The surroundings are great, with lakes, bridges, beach, peacocks, plants, great gardens.
