Near the monastery St. Naum is the entrance to the National Park Galičica . Here is the source of the river Black Drim. Unforgettable atmosphere and beautiful scenery. In restaurant "Ostrovo" (Island) you can especially enjoy in Macedonian traditional food. During the spring and summer whole island becomes a garden-restaurant. Boat cruise above the springs of Black Drim River

It is a wonderful setting, but the market has arrived big time. But I guess that is the fate of all wonderful places when news gets out. Worth a visit, the restaurants on the lake are superb.

It was just Ok. Nice bus trip. I would not pay a taxi to go there. I ate at the local restaurant... Cuba libre. That was good. I enjoyed it but if you miss it .. No worries
