Magnificent church!

The prettiest church in Ohrid City! The interior of the church is really magic. The archeological site has also interesting things to show.

Relatively near the Lake Ohrid bay, if You just start to climb uphill ,to the old city centre, before long, You will get to this pearl among the churches in Ohrid Town. By this mean, we also walked through the ancient, architectural complex of narrow, curved, tiny cobbled streets, and have seen the beautiful, old buildings along the road. The church itself... More

Macedonia has many beautiful churches and several of my favorites are in Ohrid! You can't go wrong visiting these. Try to avoid the groups. Restoration and archaeology occurring nearby.

I've been travelling and this is one of the better church in terms of the fresco still area there to be viewed, most of the other churches are more left to your imagination as to what could have been and while that's nice, nothing beats a near complete floor to ceiling church filled with frescos - make no mistake, it's... Lots of churches in Ohrid, and this should be in your top three to target, along with St. Sophia and, more debatable, Plasonik (more for the remains of the early basilica than the modern reconstructed church) You enter with a somewhat steep walk to the city walls, and in through the gate. The cruciform building gives you a really nice... More

Very nice complex with rich historic value. Its a must visit place if you are in Ohrid. They have the floors and some stones of the original church.

St. Kiment Church is one of the places in Ohrid that you HAVE to visit. Since it is usually crowded with tourists, my recommendation is to visit it on sunset when they have afternoon mass. The singing inside of the church is complimenting the holiness of the place, and it will give you great spiritual fulfillment. On the outside you... More

Nice boat trip, beautiful scenery, we had an amazing guide and he really made the visit something special. Interesting church on a beautiful location, peacocks live free inside the monastery - part of it has been transformed in a hotel.

Well, this was one of the highlights on our Balkans tour. High above Ohrid town, with a brilliant view of town and lake Ohrid, this church must be one of the most beautiful ones in south eastern Europe.
