After searching the island of Moorea and Tahiti, we settled on getting our pearls from Eva Perles last November. I knew very little about pearls, but my husband knew a bit more having bought pearls for my wedding jewelry. I didn't intend on getting any pearls when planning our trip to French Polynesia, but I couldn't resist once I saw... More

After having visited French Polynesia four times, I felt it was time to buy a pair of pearl earrings! There are no shortage of places to buy pearls in Moorea, but we chose the attractive shop owned by Eva as our first stop and never went anywhere else! Eva was so friendly and personable and we enjoyed a long conversation... More

My husband and I visited Eva's Perles in Moorea to look at black pearl jewelry while on a 30th wedding anniversary trip. We had a wonderful, insightful visit with the store's owner Eva Frachon. Eva has a great wealth of knowledge about the black pearl industry. She takes a great deal of pride in her business and the jewelry that... More

I would recommend anyone travelling to French Polynesia to visit Eva Perles. There are pearl retailers aplenty, but we found no other like Eva Perles. After much help from Eva (but absolutely no pressure) I bought a beautiful black pearl with a slight blue/green lustre on a hand-made silver setting ... it's quite spectacular and beautifully made, and is remarked... My husband and I visited Eva Perles in June on our honeymoon. Eva was so attentive, and gave us such a memorable customer experience. She educated us on pearls and left no detail out. I did not know how pearls are rated and Eva took the time to explain to us the details of the rating system. She was so... More

I had visited two other shops prior to visiting Eva Perles. I knew I wanted to at least go to Eva Perles, based on Trip Advisor reviews. May I say,,, there is NO comparison between the product, education, and care taken in this lovely artist's gallery. It was an eye opening experience, and in the end, I purchased a beautiful... More

We had a look at a small number of jewellery shops before going to Eva Perles Gallery. How fortunate we were to meet Eva and spend time with her learning about the magic of Tahitian cultured pearls! Eva couldn't have been more honest, helpful, enthusiastic and patient! Eva's passion is reflected in her jewellery which we found to be elegant... More

After shopping in several jewelry stores and trying to be "sold" ordinary Jewelry, my wife and I visited Eva Perles. Eva was a delight to deal with. She was informative, knowledgeable, and patient. Her jewelry is unique and creative and she takes great pride in her work. We felt like her main priority was that we were happy and satisfied.... More

We were walking down the street in Moorea and came upon the shop called Eva Perles. So glad we did! We met Eva, she is delightful and enthusiastically showed us her designs and explained all about Tahitian black pearls. She even invited us to take the pearls outside to see the beautiful colours in natural daylight. Unlike some other shops,... More

Stockton on our quest to find some black pearls to take home and hit a homerun here. She was very informative and gave us a great education on the pearls and spent plenty of time with us. Never felt rushed or pressured and she was very helpful in giving us all the paperwork necessary to get our tax refund. I... More
