Eva and Soelie are amazing. This is not a hard sell store, very laid back and super knowledgeable staff will assist you in choosing the perfect piece! Wonderful selection, not the standard fare you see everywhere else and Eva is GIA trained so knows her stuff, again not like many others I spoke with when searching. Can't express how lovely... I'd done extensive research on Pearl shopping before i got to Moorea and Eva was on my shortlist. She was the first pearl boutique i visited and the last because i checked out other reputable stores in between and still went back to Eva. Because 1) Eva has a fine eye for quality and picking out very special pearls. I... More

Thank you Eva!!! On a trip to Moorea, I wanted to find some loose pearls for a designer / jeweler in my home town to set into pendants for my wife and three daughters. To my delight, I changed direction after visiting Eva Perles. She is a very talented artist with a keen eye and an excellent vision. Eva's work... More

Knowing that we were going to buy some Tahitian "black" pearls during our 16 day trip to French Polynesia I researched stores on the 5 islands we would be going to - Tahiti, Huahine, Ta'a, Bora Bora and Moorea. Based on the reviews I knew that Eva's was worth visiting but Moorea was last on our itinerary. We visited countless... More

We first met Eva 3 years ago on our honeymoon, and although we travelled to 5 different Society Islands, Eva was the only vendor who never asked us to settle for second best. Her eye for detail won us over, and there really is no excuse for bottom shelf if you're serious about making that kind of investment! We returned... More

My husband and I honeymooned on Moorea and Bora Bora, and we found Eva Perles in Maharepa, Moorea through our travel agent. We are so glad we did! If you are looking for the most beautiful, best quality cultured black pearls, you must visit Eva. Eva is a delightful Frenchwoman, resident of Moorea for nearly 30 years. She taught us... More

This shop has the best selection of colored pearls on the island, and we visited all of them. We found Eva to be honest, ethical and very generous with her time. She is an artist so she is focused on colors, and selects every pearl by hand.

If you are looking to buy or even just admire the stunning naturally coloured pearls of the Tahiti area, and are on the island of Moorea in French Polynesia, please do go and visit Eva in her charming boutique in Maharepa village. Beware - you may be steered away by taxi drivers who may receive inducements from other shops, but... More

I agree this by far is the best place on Moorea to buy pearls. Free shuttle service to and from the Hilton. Eva explains the pearl harvesting process and takes the time to understand the customer. She is a true artist and does not promote the most expensive items. She Recommends the items that look the best on you. I... More
