We recently traveled to Moorea and then on to Bora Bora For years my wife, Robin's, dream has been to renew our vows in Bora Bora while wearing a pearl ring from Tahiti. After researching our options in Moorea and Bora Bora, I determined that Eva Perles was a good starting point for a pearl purchase. As it turned out,... More

I decided soon after we planned our honeymoon that I wanted a pearl pendant as a souvenir. I started doing some research and found that Eva's had the best reviews. I decided that was where we'd get my pendant from. As soon as we walked in the shop we were greated by Soelie. She couldn't have been sweeter. She let... More

I just returned to my hotel from buying my pearl pendant from Soelie, Eva's assistant. She is a lovely young lady who was very knowledgeable and extremely articulate in explaining the pearl buying process. Even though my budget was modest, she assured me she would be able to find something in my price range. After my choice, Soelie made sure... More

Buying pearls from Eva was one of many great memories of our weddingmoon in French Polynesia. We stayed in Moorea for 4 nights before going to Bora Bora for our wedding. I knew buying black pearls in Moorea would be a much better choice than buying in Bora Bora(mainly because of the price). I also did a little research online... More

My wife and I spent a week in Moorea for our honeymoon. Naturally my wife wanted to purchase a black pearl as momento of our honeymoon and since Tahiti is famous for their black pearls. After visiting multiple pearl shops and jewelers some of which with signs claiming "40% off" all of which were over priced and pushy, we thought... More

Eva is exremely helpful - providing a thorough overview of the pearl industry in the region, putting to bed some myths around where they come from, how reliable x-raying is, and what to look for. Great pearls, nice settings, no presure. Eva also explained how the tax-reclaim works and provided an idiots guide (very helpful for me!). My wife chose... More

We spent a week on Morea, and so had quite a bit of time to look at pearls in a number of different venues. As I had come to the conclusion that the pearls I liked but were too expensive for me, I had almost decided to look no more when we went into Eve Perles. We were made welcome... More

Eva Perles was an experience I will never forget. The owner and designer of the pearls is both passionate and talented which is shown in her designs. Going around all the other pearls shops in Tahiti, she was also one of the most reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit.

Eva,I do want to thank you for your personal attention and time devoted to making my purchase of a special gift for myself especially rewarding. I was amazed to have you present me with a choice of four individual necklaces specifically designed after our conversation about my preferences regarding the various pearls. You are truly an artist as I told... More
