Great place if you wanna run away from the busy city and have peaceful of mind. Seriously! I went to Bahariyya with fifteen friends accompanied by our tour guide Mansour Marshmellow. They waited us at the bus station and fetch us, and send us back to the bus station at the end of the trip. You just need to bring... More

The desert is beautiful, prepare to camp out under the stars and to respect the ecology of the desert. The white desert followed by Bawiti gardens, hot springs and relaxation are perfect all the way until May when it warms up. Bring a book and unplug.

We went 7 ppl from Cairo camping for 2 nights in the desert. Hag Mansour (a local guide) took care of everything (land cruisers, food, water and soft drinks, tents, sleeping bags and blankets, utensils, fruits and munchies, breakfast lunch and dinners... Everything even the wood for the camp fire... All we did was just park cars at his home... More

I insisted my tour (excellent with Hola Egypt) included camping in the White Desert. Sure, the 5 hour bus and then 2-3 hour jeep ride was a bit much, but it was SO worth it. Our guide was very nice and cooked us a delicious dinner. Before we left, he also served us lunch at his house. I left my... More

It is a great pleasure to walk in the palm trees fields. We can feel the calm and quiet atmosphere. However to visit this oasis, a tourist guide is mandatory in order to not forget any parts. After visiting the oasis itself, don’t forget to visit the Golden Mummies Museum: 10 wonderful mummies are still waiting for you.
