The garden designers did a beautiful job on the winding paths through different flora and fauna, complete with focal point statues, bridges and meandering trails . . . all riverside.

Very basic and more suitable for children then adults. Many school kids were there the day we went. Chance to get out of the sun for an hour or so.

This botanical garden is located atop a hill outside of Guayaquil. It'a a very relaxing and well-shaded place to walk around, and there are good views of the surrounding area from the lookout at the top.

First thing - Wear bug spray and bring your own water - there is none for sale. Also make sure you arrange to be picked up with your driver before you leave your taxi. The paths are easy to follow and paved; there are free restrooms, and there is plenty of shade. If you have never had a chance to... More

The gardens run along the Malecon are positioned perfectly to provide shade and places to sit and just reflect on the nice weather. Only drawback is the noise and exhaust fumes from the parallel street. The display of flowers and plants is colorful and varied as anything we have ever seen. They are well tended by their gardeners. Expired blooms... More

This lovely area runs parallel to the Malecon. A beautiful walk in the early morning or late afternoon. Landscaping is just perfection with an incredible array of trees, plants and flowers. Birds abound for those who appreciate our feathered friends.
