Went to see the iguanas and really loved it. I even think it was cool after I went to the galapagos. The local kids don't listen and touch the iguanas but we kept our distance. BE CAREFUL-iguanas fall out of trees and one almost fell on my head!!

If you are in Guayaquil, this is a "must see" attraction. Within this half acre park there are perhaps 200 large and small land iguanas. They wander the grounds, climb the trees and show no fear of humans. You can certainly get wonderful photographs and great close ups of these colorful lizards. Just a short walk from many hotels or... More

Having travelled from the Galapagos, we'd seen more than enough iguanas, yet this little park is full of them - a land iguana quite different from those we had encountered before, with the very long tail that would be expected on the marine version. Although these are essentially 'free range' reptiles, they rely on human intervention to feed them. Despite... More

Part of our tour stopped here. Iguanas everywhere! Our kids really enjoyed trying to spot them in the trees. Not anything like the Galapagos Islands, but still an interesting spot in the middle of the city.

We went there with our kids, and spent one hour, but we will come back. If you are an animal lover, you can spent hours there, We could touch them, they are so used to humans , and feed them. The females being more friendly than the male ones, going around all the time after the " ladies". Is a real hit... More

This small park is in the centre of Guayaquil. We visited first thing in the morning and were fascinated with all the Iguanas lying around in the sun or hiding in the bushes. After spending the day exploring the city, we returned to the park (where we were to meet up with others) and the Iguanas were awake and moving... More

This park is located right in the center of Guayaquil close to many hotels and is a must see tourist attraction. The park itself is beautiful with many nice trees and flowers and a statue of Simon Bolivar in the center. It also fronts a beautiful church which makes for some nice pictures. It has a pond full of large Koi... More

Loved it, lots of iguanas which freaks you out, but it was still really fun. Not a big park and probably not worth spending lots of time there.

This small park is a must see in the city , amazing show of iguanas eating lettuce and walking around local families. Park is located in front of the elegant and really simple cathedral of the city and just crossing the street you can eat at La Canoa the restaurant of hotel continental , a classic of typical food in...
