During my trip through Croatia I have visited quite a few Bell-towers. This one belongs in the "definitely to visit" category because of the wide view you get. You can see very far from all the way up the tower and every wind direction has another view. You can see water, authentic houses, the Kamerlengo fortress and mountains. Don't forget... More

Quite e percent climbing to top of Bell Tower, rickety steps, ladder to climb. Beware if you are up there at 12noon, will take a while to regain your hearing. Beautiful views, wee worth it.

The top of the bell tower had great views of trogir and split. The last section on the climb was rather scary, the stairs didn't seem very secure.

Not to much of a climb to the top and the views over Trogir and towards Split are worth the effort. The last section to the top is not for the faint hearted though !!!

The climb is half the fun. You can imaging the making of this tower and think about all those old movies of knights and castles when looking at this construction.

It's a really challenging climb - not too long, but with some really dodgy, narrow stairs along the way! The last part of the climb is particularly interesting. And when you get to the top, you can stand on a grate - which gives alarmingly even under modest weight - and look straight down through the middle of the tower... More

Great views of Trogir roof tops etc. Stair case is a bit open at the top. Don't go at 12noon (bells)

After visiting the cathedral , went up to the top of the campanile . I have to say it was scary ! The first part is not bad at all , but once you get inside the tower , part of the staircase made out of metal and steps look so small you can see below. I had to stop... More

I agree with most of reviewers that it's trully remarcable place, great view of Trogir's rooftops and whole area around it, well worth visiting. One thing I don't agree is name of this place. Although it is part of church of St. Lawrence (Sveti Lovre), bell tower (Kampanel) is one of St. John (Sveti Ivan) patron saint of Trogir and... More
